We pulled up to the little camp. It was by a quarry and surrounded by woods. As I stepped out of the car I noticed Merle didn't come out of the truck. I walked over to T-Dog. "Hey um... where's Merle?" T-Dog looked down and boy, did he look guilty. He didn't say anything, just glanced at me and walked away.

As Rick started walking up the little graveled hill that leads to the camp, A little boy, maybe 11, and a woman with long brown hair started running towards him. The little boy yelled "Dad!" and jumped into his arms. The woman who I assume is his mother, cried and hugged Rick and the little boy. It was sweet, not gonna lie. Glenn noticed how confused I looked. " I'm pretty sure that they are Rick's wife and son. Lori told us that he was in a coma and that he died. Guess she was wrong."

Then I saw him. He didn't see me but when he did he dropped his crossbow and ran to me, me already running at him. I jumped into Daryl's arms, crying. He held me so tight, and he didn't put me down for at least 3 minutes.

When he finally did put me down, we just looked at each other, I couldn't believe this was happening. "I missed you so much, Daryl Dixon." He grinned "Missed you too, Dani." We just smiled at each other for a minute. I have been in love with this guy since I was 16. Of course, he doesn't know that, though. He looked dirty as hell, and his hair seemed a little longer.

After a few minutes, he looked behind me. "Yo, where's Merle?" I shrugged. "I don't know. I rode in the other car."  He looked confused and then walked over to Rick. "Who the hell are you, and what did you do with my brother?" Rick looked at T-Dog and then back to Daryl. " He didn't make it home with us. He's probably not dead, but we don't know. He's still in the city."

Daryl threw a punch at Rick, Rick then managed to put him in a headlock. Daryl was still struggling to get out of  Rick's lock. "What the hell, Dare?" I asked him. He then calmed down. Rick said, "Are you good?" Daryl nodded once, and Rick let go.

Daryl stood up and glared at Rick. "We are going back to get my goddamn brother. Whether you come or not doesn't matter." Rick took a step forward, "Look, it's getting a little late to be going back into the city today. I'll go with you tomorrow." Daryl grunted and walked into the woods.

Glenn showed me around the camp and introduced me to everyone. Amy, Andrea's little sister. She seemed like a sweetheart. Carol, who was a nice woman, but her husband Ed seemed like an asshole from the get-go.

Sophia, who was Carol and Ed's daughter was the cutest kid I've ever met. And Lori, Rick's wife, and their son, Carl. Carl reminded me a lot of my brother. They both had freckles and the cutest little nose.

Next was Dale, who I could tell, was a wise man. Then there was Shane, he was tall and kind of bulky. Seemed like maybe he was decent. It also looked like he had a problem with Rick, with the way he looked at him. Turns out they used to be friends before everything happened.

When Glenn was done showing me around, I sat down at a little table with Carl and Sophia. We played Go fish and a few other card games. Where the hell was Daryl? I haven't seen him since he stormed off into the woods. I need a minute, to clear my head, and maybe find Daryl. I told the kids I was done playing cards for right now and walked into the woods.

It was so peaceful being alone with my thoughts and knowing that there were other people alive. I came across two walkers, I stabbed one in the skull, but I couldn't pull my damn knife out. The other walker was coming up behind me and right as I turned around and pulled one of my katanas out, the walker pushed me down. Me on my back and him on top. I didn't wanna use a gun because it would attract more, but I couldn't pull my sword out.

I managed to pull myself up and pin the walker to the ground. I grabbed a big rock, about the size of a softball. When I raised my arm to jam the rock into its face, an arrow flew into the walker's face. I didn't need to look to know who it was. As soon as I stood up, he whipped me around to face him.
