Long ago in a lifetime that was as long as a breath-hold, assassins roamed the planet unsuspected. Assassins were feared by the public, many thought that they might even kill all of humanity and leave the planet to themselves. They had targets, and they were mainly people who had done something terribly wrong or threatened the assassin group. Assassins were amazingly talented, not only in fighting, but also in flips, tricks, and more. They could kill a whole group of people, all while remaining secretly undetected. Some had goals, and some didn't. Some just liked the adrenaline of killing, and some wanted to get revenge on a certain group of people. All for what? All for the sake of their lives, they killed. They killed until their fingers were permanently stained with blood, their pupils small in utter despair. Please help these deranged human beings, the public would plea. Helping wouldn't help, not in the assassin's case, it would most definitely not.
One who would accidentally rob the household of an assassin would find their deaths waiting inside, but they were blind. They were too blind to see the bloody knife at the end of the tunnel, the end of the road for the old thief who robbed the house of an assassin. The thief was no match for the highly-trained ninja who prayed inside the house they had their eye on. Some would wonder how the assassins killed their targets. Well, they did it in any way they possibly could. Each assassin had a different style they seemed to stick to. Some gassed their targets house, some sniped with a long gun, and some killed their targets in person with melee weapons. These were the assassins that people watched out for the most. You had to be pretty skilled to kill your target face-to-face with nothing but a kitchen knife. The most feared assassins lived in Russia, and they were only known to the Russians. The other countries were oblivious to the fact that a higher level of the same being was holding their boot over them. The most feared assassins were a big family of highly-trained killers whose only goal was to kill anyone who opposed them. This family was the Alekhin family. It consisted of a mother, a father, their three children, and their children's children. The mother and father trained their kids with care, carefully picking and choosing what goes into their brain and what comes back out. Their three children were Rod, Creed, and Kira. They each had children, training them just like their parents had trained them.
Rod went and left Russia, only to create a new civilization on a deserted island. He called the island Civil Island, and named the city located on the island Sightburgh. Creed took his family to Shippendale, only to become the best captain the city has had. Creed was killed, leaving his position to one of his sons, Karma. Kira also moved to Civil Island, but he never tried out to be a soldier. Instead he set up a small bakery, making bread for the hungry and tea for the thirsty. The Alekhin family was stretched out throughout the Western Pennsylvania Colony, and it was still increasing. But, there was a forgotten member of the Alekhin family: Killroy.Gashed knuckles and pink eyes were the daily for a small boy from Trance City. Trance City was a small city, its population mainly made up of denied Germans and Russians. This boy was Russian, and he was an orphan. He had brisk white hair and muted blue eyes. He had freckles dotting his cheeks, and his cheekbones were defined and deep. He was the youngest soldier any city had ever had, only being fourteen years old.
He had a friend named Keiko. She was from Japan, and she was also an orphan. He had forest-green hair, bright blue eyes, and a sweet smile. She had a black eyepatch covering her right eye. She was very smart and not very strong. She was a year older than the boy, being fifteen.
The boy, Killroy, was the definition of enragement; he was absolutely infuriated. Why? Well, he was angry at Shippendale. Though he didn't admit it, he was jealous of the city and their wealth. He was also angry at his parents, who put him up for adoption. If they would never put him up for adoption, then he would be living in Shippendale with them. Now that they got rid of him, he lives without any parents, in an orphanage, and in a run-down city. His life was horrible because of them, he thought. He would get revenge and take over the city of Shippendale, killing his parents in the meantime. Now he just needed to find out who is parents were. He only knew one thing about them: their last name is Alekhin.Killroy growled, his jaw clenching. Keiko sat beside him, looking at him in the corners of her eyes. Killroy and Keiko had a tree that they would sit by often. It was located just outside of Trance City, in between the city and the forest.
"What's wrong, Kill?" Keiko moved her head over to him, her lips pressing together in concern.
"I've waited long enough." Killroy clenched his fists.
"For what?"
"To get revenge on my parents." Killroy's eyes were flaming in fury.
"How are you gonna do that?"
"Me and you can take over Shippendale. We can kill my parents and then rule the whole city."
"You the king and me the queen?"
"Eh, I don't know. I'm not looking for marriage."
"Oh—yeah, I knew that."
There was a moment of silence between the two teens.
"I need help," Killroy said gingerly.
"With what," Keiko asked. She wasn't used to him asking for help.
"Making a plan. I know that you're really good at making plans, so I thought I could ask you," he told her.
"Of course I'll help you," she replied in a happy tone.
"Good. You make a plan while I find out who my parents are. I trust you, Keiko. You'll do good," he told her, standing up. She nodded, also standing up to her feet. She was excited, since Killroy rarely asked for her assistance. She knew she would make a plan that would please him, and she'd better get to work on it.
