Y/Ns POV

"We are almost here! Just 10 minutes away," my mom said as we drove past a white sign that said "Welcome to Derry!" in red.

I really didn't want to move. I didn't want to leave my two best friends, Syd and Dina. We all have lived in Pennslyvania our whole lives and now I am moving to fucking Derry, Maine? This is complete bullshit.

The car ride was long and hot. Bill was sleeping the whole time, so he took up most of the space in the car. There was nothing to do except stare out the tinted window and watch the cars drive by. All I could think about was sneaking out at night to go skating with Syd and Dina. Tears filled my eyes just thinking about how none of it will ever be the same.

We finally pulled into our neighborhood "Wise Woods." Just my luck, a shitty city and now a shitty neighborhood.

"Time to wake up stutter mouth," I yelled into Bills ear.

"Je-Je-Jesus y/n I told y-you to st-stop calling me th-th-that," Bill said with a scared, tired expression.

"I know," I said with a smirk, proceeding to get out of the car. I took a good look at our house. It was gray with two windows in the front, and a big back yard. It was not as bad as I thought, but I still missed our old house.

"Bill, y/n, please grab some boxes from the moving truck and bring them inside," my mom yelled from the front door of the house.

"Billiam, get your lazy ass out of the car and come help me carry the boxes in."

As I was grabbing the first box, something hard hit the back of my head.

"Ow what the fuck was that!" I said. As I turned around, there was a tall figure standing right behind me. He had curly black hair, a hawaiian polo, jean shorts, vans, and glasses that looked too big for him. He was also holding a skateboard that had a drawing of a dick on the bottom of it. He was kinda...hot.

"Oh sorry, I was aiming for your head," said the curly head boy with a smirk.

"Fuck off," I said. "Who even are you?"

"My name is Richie Tozier, but you can call me daddy," Richie says with a wink.

"Ew no," I said with a disgusted look on my face. "Do you even live here?"

"Yeah, I live right across the street dumbass."

"Well I just moved in so I don't know anyone in this neighborhood dick head."

"Ooooo fiesty there," Richie said with chuckle. "This town sucks and so do the people."

"Thanks for such a great first impression Richie." I said with an eye roll

"Your welcome sweet cheeks. Well I have to go. I have better things to do then to fuck around with losers like you."

Richie came up to me. His warm breath in my ear. He whispered, "Good luck in your new house, I'm pretty hard to handle." Then he skated away.  I flipped him off and just stood there and watched him skate farther and farther away from me.

"Wh-who was th-that?" Bill asked grabbing another box.

"Some asshole that lives across the street. Come on, let's finish up these boxes so we can pick our rooms."

Richies POV

As I was skating away, all I could think about was that girl. Her long black her. Her ocean blue eyes. She also didn't dress like most girls here. She wore a beanie with a sweatshirt and sweatpants. She was lowkey kinda hot. Was that dumbass really expecting it to be cold here? It's fucking May.

But she moved in right where my ex girlfriend, Ashe, lived. I miss her and I didn't want anyone else to move in there. At least she's not an ugly rat.

Oh shit, I forgot to ask her what her name was. Well it doesn't really matter because I probably won't even talk to her that much. I need to get my mind off her and focus on this week being the first time all of us losers are gonna hang out at the quarry since last Summer.

But I couldn't stop thinking about her.
