Alex POV
Today is the day that me and Taryn go on this Valentine's Day date .. I'm kind of nervous because I want it go as planned ..
I didn't plan nothing too fancy .. just fancy enough for her to know that I tried ..
I've been trying to get as much advice as I can from everybody because Ik i can come off as nonchalant at times and I don't want Taryn to feel like I don't like her because .. obviously I do ..
I've somewhat told my mom about her .. I only told her that I have a friend that I'm starting to like .. and she went crazy .. yes .. my mom is one of those .. she always wanted to see me in a healthy relationship because most of my relationships were controlling, toxic (now don't get me wrong, toxic is ok but not toooo much) mentally and physically abusive ..
I am supposed to pick Taryn up at 3 so we can start our day ..
Looking at my watch I seen that I had a lot of time so I tried to calm my nerves and draw because that's one of the things that I enjoy doing and that I'm really good at ..
Taryn POV
Today is that day ..
Me and Alex are going on a date and Chile .. nervous isn't the word .. I'm excited, scared, anxious, nervous, happy, and everything else ..
Leah left yesterday and before she did, she told me not to stress .. so that's what I'm trying not to do ..
Author note: I'm skipping to 2:45 because who finna make up stuff to pass time .. tuh nawt me ..
Taryn POV

I got out the shower and paused my music as I look at myself in the mirror ..
"You got this" I said to myself as I wiped some of the fog off of my bathroom mirror and began to lotion myself up and get dressed..
Alex POV
I finished tying my left shoe and I stood up and looked at myself in my long mirror in my room ..
I had on a "pulp fiction" shirt with Nike grey joggers, yellow converse with my dreads down with a side part ..
I grabbed my phone and texted Taryn that I was on my way .. I grabbed my keys, locked the door, and headed out my apartment ..
Taryn POV
I had on a black AC⚡️DC shirt with white skinny ripped jeans with black and white jordan high top 1's .. with my wet and curly hair as always but not putting a beanie on it this time ..
As I got done admiring myself In the mirror .. i got a text from Alex ..
It said "I'm on the way" ..
I replied ok .. and made sure I had everything .. such as my charger phone, AirPods, card, and keys ..
I headed downstairs outside the apartment complex and waited for Alex ..
5-7 minuets later she pulled up in front of me in the parking lot ..
She got out the car and all I could so was smile because for one .. I'm nervous as da fawk .. and 2 because looked fooinnn asl ..
Alex POV
I pulled up to Taryn's appointment complex and seen her standing there waiting for me ..
I got out the car and seen her smiling which put a smile on my face .. I walked closer to her and we hugged ..
"Are you ready?" I asked her
"Yeah" she replied
"Good, let's go" I said as I walked over to the passenger side of my car and open the door for her ..
Taryn POV
As I got in the car I received a text message from Leah ..
It said "you got this bestie .. love you .. be safe and have fun .. you deserve it" ..
I replied with "thank you .. and you have fun with yo boo too " ..
Alex got in the drivers side and looked at me ..
"Everything good?" .. she asked
"Yup" I said
And with me saying that .. she pulled off ..

Yes I will be telling y'all what they did on the date .. (might not be till summer .. but it will get typed )
