I just came off my lunch break, and getting back to work ..

I was getting in the car to do an errand for my boss until I got a call from Dev ..

"Incoming FaceTime call from Bestie Devon " the phone read

"Hello?" I said

"What are you doing at 5?" Devon asked me

"Wow, not a good evening, how are you?, how did you sleep?" I said appalled

He mean mugged me but then said "how's your day going Taryn?"

"It's going great, I'm going to be home relaxing around that time " I said

"I need you to watch my nephew, my sister wants me to watch him but I have to make some drops way across town around that time" He told me

"Antwon? I remember him, with his little bad butt, Yeah I'll watch him" I replied

" thank you, I'll pay you" he said

"Boy you don't have to pay me, that's family" I laughed

"Alright, I'll text you when I'm on my way with him" he said

"Fasho" I replied

"Fasho" he said before ending the call

6:15 pm

I've been at home for about an hour or two and is still waiting to get that text message from Dev ..

I pulled some snacks out because that little boy love snacks ..

After that, I turned on some coco melon on my bedroom tv ..

I got a text from Dev saying "I'm outside, I don't have time to go up, can you get him from out here?"

I replied with a "yes", put on my crocs, and headed down ..

Once I was all the way downstairs, I head to the main entrance where I seen Dev car ..

I opened the back seat and got Antwon ..

"Be safe Dev" I said while getting Antwon out the car seat ..

"I'm always safe" he said smacking his lips ..

"I'm foreal D, they dangerous out east" I said with a serious face ..

"I am gang" he said ..

"I'll text you when I'm on my way to pick him up" he also said ..

"Ok" I said getting Antwon bag and closing the door ..

With that, we headed back to my apartment room ..

Me and Antwon made it up to the room and got comfortable..

We were in my room watching cocomelon and eating snacks ..

An hour later, I heard a knock at my door ..

I went to the door and opened it, it was Alex ..

"Wassup" Alex said ..

"I'm babysitting" I said rolling my eyes ..

"What y'all do?" She asked

"What you mean my boa?" I asked referring to that one tiktok (iykyk) ..

"You're supposed to play with the kid, keep them happy" she told me ..

"He look pretty darn happy to me" I said looking at him smile at the tv ..

"Mmcht, come on little man, you wanna play hide and seek?" Alex asked Antwon ..

"Yeth" Antwon replied ..

"You playing too fun police?" She said while laughing ..

"Yeah I guess" I said playfully rolling my eyes ..

After playing for about 2 hours of hide and seek, janga, and tag around the apartment .. Dev texted me and told me that he was 5 minutes away ..

"Alright Antwon, you uncle almost here" I told him with getting his shoes and bag ready ..

"You gotta come over again little man,that was fun" Alex spoke out ..

"Nothing was fun about that, you cheated in every game" I said while mean mugging her ..

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" she said with a evil grin ..

"You know what, you can leave too" I said point to the door ..

"You know you don't want me to go" she said smiling ..

I mean mugged her and headed out the door with Antwon because I knew his uncle was most likely around the corner ..
