Matthew could feel his feet dragging against the ground. He felt the sensation of bodies around him. Commotion, like that on Main Street. It felt familiar, and he could see them in his mind, the hundreds of faceless passersby swarming around him... He could've sworn he heard something like a scream. He started to feel something warm on his face. A hand or a shoulder... But he was gone again.
