Rosa's P.o.V.

North and Percy let me sleep in their cabin, since there was no cabin for children of Ouranos and Gaea (obviously). They turned their little kitchen into a room for me and added a bed and desk. It felt awkward, and Percy began acting 'different' around me, especially in training. After unpacking, I said goodnight and headed to bed.

We awoke to the sound of the sea. I could hear the waves lapping hypnotically against the shore.

Today, North was high strung on Capture The Flag. Apparently, they never let her play until now. Her friends, who I met yesterday, Summer and Xavier, were 12 and 13, which left her the youngest at 11. Our team won, and finally came the time of the chariot races.

North forced us not to compete. She wanted to us to watch her. I looked to her chariot, it was painted sea blue with coral bits as decoration. A seashell was on the front and some buttons inside the chariot.

Finally, the race started. North seemed to be having a difficult time, as the other campers kept ahead.

After a while, North was in the lead and about to cross the finish line. However, another racer apparently got irritated and bumped into her chariot. The chariot spun out of control and North fell out of it. The pegasi went crazy and stomped on her head. I screamed and jumped over the fence and to her side, Percy not far behind. He picked North up bridal style and carried her to the infirmary with tears in his eyes. I saw her go unconscious and burst into tears. I followed Percy, crying and praying to the gods she would be alright.
