The Day Before Spooky Month

When its not night time, Skid and Pump are just normal kids. Both kids slept too late, so they were snoring in bed, still in their costumes. Lila, (Skids mom) got up with an unhappy face for work. She threw together breakfast and stuffed it in her bag. She opened the door to and walk over to her car when she heard a familiar voice. "Hey Lila, whatcha doing up so early?" She paused to take a look and said "Work, I can see you later." She jumped in the car and drove off. When she left, Skids alarm went off. He got up and looked at his hands. Still a skeleton. Groggy Skid checked the time on his clock. 7:30 AM Saturday. Skid rolled out of bed and rubbed his eyes a lot. He went down the stairs and into the kitchen and grabbed a banana. Pump, on the other hand did not have an alarm clock and was normally woken up by a call from skid, which is why he had his phone there. Skid ate the banana.

We were out in our front yard, behind our truck, talking about next door.  And he said that the woman he spoke to was the friend he talked about. "So she has the kids?" "Yup, I think they should be awake soon, My friend told me they are more active at night than day." " Do they look like weird flashy bugs?" I said, thinking about the white and orange things that zoomed across the sidewalk near our house at the speed of light. "I guess, they tend to be really fast. I dunno if they have caffeine or if they are just truly Halloween." Muki smooshed her hands on her face, listening to her dads rambles.

Skid, now having eaten something and being a bit better called his friend. "Pump, are you still in your costume?" "Yeah", Pump said. Skid looked out the window before waiting for pump outside and squinted. "Pump, did you- uh see that truck there last night?" "Well I can't  see it, I'm on the phone. I only saw the things we did last night- " Said Pump, getting ready to walk over without being at the speed of light.

Fortunately, Pumps house is closer than both of them thought. It was only a few blocks away, even though it looked like a mile. When Pump arrived, he looked better than he sounded on the phone. Skid pointed at the truck and they both stared. "Ooh, maybe its another spooky guy who has a patient in his truck!" Skid said. The two ran over to the truck quickly and casually began to bang the truck with their fists to see if anyone was inside. "Looks like nobody's home-" Pump said, a little disappointed.

1st interaction

"Hey! Dad what are you doing!? Your banging is so loud I cant TAKE it!" Skid and Pump were actually spooked. Skid and Pump ran in the wrong direction and ended up in Mukis face. Muki screamed quietly, and stared at the two.Muki began to sniffle, and in only 30 seconds of being spooked, she tears down her face, being the sensitive kid she is. "Hey hey Pump- lets get the hell outta here before we get taught by her dad!" Skid said, backing away from Muki, genuinely concerned. The two kids indeed got the hell outta there.

Post note: Muki is just a very sensitive person, but gets over it quickly.
