AHN EUN JI'S POV
After a while, mom decided to take a rest so Jae Suk and I went to the rooftop garden again and stayed there.Jae Suk suddenly asked, "Are you alright?"
"Ah yes." I replied coldly.
"You don't look like it." He added.
I got quiet for a while and replied, "I just... I mean, stage IV is the most serious stage. Will she ever be healed?" I got suddenly negative and started tearing up.
"Hey, don't be like that." Jae Suk told me but nothing changed, I felt the same negativity.
"Look at me." He said and held both of my cheeks and faced me to him, "Your mother's gonna be alright, okay? I promise, she's going to be fine. You don't have to worry about anything, I'll try to help and maybe... Pay for the hospital bills."
"You don't have to do that." I told him and looked away because tears started to fall from my eyes.
"Hey hey." He called and held onto me, making me lean on his chest. He wiped my tears and said, "Everything's gonna be alright."
I don't know why, I just feel better when I'm with him.
I didn't noticed but I just leaned on his chest way longer than I expected. "Hey, I know how to cheer you up." Jae Suk suddenly spoke.
"W-What?"
"Let's go." He said and stood up holding my hand.
"But, mom." I worried.
"She's gonna be okay, I'll ask one of the nurses to look after her and call us if she needs us." He said.

Later on, he parked the car after driving for a while. "Are we... At Lotte World???" I said which such an excited tone.
He nodded and smiled.
Man, it's been a while since I got here.

THIRD PERSON VIEW
The two entered the famous ice skating rink inside. Eun Ji's legs get shaky while Jae Suk just glides smoothly around the rink. He stops and looks at Eun Ji, suddenly laughing at her.He approached her and held her arm, "I thought you're good at ice skating?"
TWO YEARS AGO, WHILE EUN JI AND JAE SUK ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP...
"Oppa, what's your dream date?" Eun Ji asked as she and Jae Suk walk around Han River park.
"Me? Uhmmm, just spending time together in the house is great." Jae Suk replied.
"Eyy that's so boring!!" Eun Ji said and made Jae Suk question, "Why is it boring? What about you?"
"Hmm... I want a date on Lotte World, and try those ice skating stuff there! It would be the greatest date ever!"
"Eyy that's more boring." Jae Suk replied.
"No it's not! I think it would be very fun!" She defended.
Jae Suk laughed and asked, "Do you even know how to skate?"
Eun Ji was embarrassed of the question and just ended up lying, "Of course! Why wouldn't I?"
Eun Ji remembers what he meant so she just let out a sigh of embarrassment.
"Here. Let me help you." Jae Suk said and held both of her arms and carefully guided her to skate.
"Wah, I'm actually doing it!" Eun Ji said with her hands tightly holding Jae Suk's.
Jae Suk teased her and slightly loosened up the grip making Eun Ji shout, "Aghhh don't let me go!" Eun Ji freaks out and suddenly trips, falling into Jae Suk's arms.
"I won't let you go." Jae Suk suddenly whispered and made Eun Ji blush.
She quickly got her balance and tightly held Jae Suk's arms again and started skating around.
Laughs and smiles were shown as the two had fun at the ice rink.
But...
What they didn't know is Eun Ji's phone was ringing so bad, her brother Jung Woo was calling her, probably around more than 20 times.
———
"Here." Jae Suk said and gave her banana milk that he bought somewhere. They both sat at a bench after having too much fun since Lotte World is a large place.
"Thank you." She said and opened the banana milk and opened her bag to grab her phone.
"Now I admit that ice skating was fun."
Eun Ji laughs, replying, "I know, right? Like I wanna go one more time!" She said and opened her phone, "Oh? 27 missed calls? From Jung Woo oppa?" She got confused and again, another call from Jung Woo came.
"Hello? Oppa? What's--"
"YA! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU???!!"
"Eyy why shout at me, are you--" She got cut off again.
"MOM'S AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM!"
———
Eun Ji quickly gets out of Jae Suk's car, leaving Jae Suk to park the car.
She quickly rushes inside the emergency room seeing her mother on the hospital bed while doctors and nurses surround her while one is performing CPR on her mother.
Eun Ji just stands there worried as tears starts falling from her eyes.
Until the scariest part of cardiac arrests finally occurs.
The straight line came on the monitor. Which ended Eun Ji's life saviour.
"EOMMA!!!!!!"
———
Jae Suk was waiting in front of the emergency room as Eun Ji walks outside with Jung Woo's arm around her shoulder, giving her comfort.
Eun Ji continued to cry as Jae Suk stands up and worries, "Is she okay?" He asked.
But, an unexpected feeling took over Eun Ji.
She walks to Jae Suk and suddenly punched his chest repeatedly, "It's all because of you!!!"
"W-What?"
"It's all because of you! If you didn't distracted me, she would've been alive! If you didn't took me to that stupid skating rink, I would've acted faster!!" She shouted at Jae Suk repeatedly punching his chest.
"I-I..."
"It's all because of you!!"
"It's all because of you!!"
"It's all... Because. Of. You!"
