Minutes later, Jae Suk fell asleep, leaning on the side of the bed, without letting go Eun Ji's hand.

At the same time, Jae Suk felt her hand gripped tight, making him wake up real quick and looked at Eun Ji, "W-Where... Am I?" Eun Ji tried speaking.

"E-Eun Ji ah, uhmmm s-stay right there, I'll call a nurse." Jae Suk said and went outside finding a nurse to call.

AHN EUN JI'S POV
Am I... At a hospital?

W-Why is Jae Suk here? Am I dreaming?

B-but...

The door opened and Jae Suk was there with a nurse and both approached me.

The nurse gave me some sort of check up and she even asked me some personal questions like what's my name or do I remember about anything about my life?

It's just weird.

I thought I...

After the check up, the nurse said that she needed to inform the doctor about me waking up, leaving me and Jae Suk alone.

He looked at me, "Are you alright? What do you feel?"

"W-What happened?"

THIRD PERSON VIEW
Jae Suk explained everything that happened, from her willingly drowning herself to him swimming and saving her.

Eun Ji just looks down asking, "W-Why did you save me anyway? I'm nothing to you now right?" The question made Jae Suk speechless.

"E-Eun Ji ah, that's not what I--"

"What? Are you gonna tell me that... That you love me now unwillingly because I tried to kill myself?" Eun Ji got straight to the point.

"N-No, that's not what--"

"Then what? What is it?" Eun Ji gave her time to answer but he couldn't. "Why can't you answer? I'm asking you, what am I supposed to do in this useless worl--"

"Because I want you to be safe okay?! ... I don't want you to be in danger... L-Look, this is not the best time to talk about what's between us, all we need to do is just get you to feel better and---"

"You should've let me die." She cut Jae Suk off and suddenly cried, covering her face, sobbing quite loud making Jae Suk feel so much pain.

He stood up and sat beside her, gently wrapping his arms around her, "You're gonna be okay, I promise... Just let me protect you."

Four days later...

YOO JAE SUK'S POV
I wonder how Eun Ji's doing. She got discharged yesterday, I told her to contact me so that I can be less worried because she easily kept me worried ever since what happened to her, I just want her to be extra safe. But, I haven't received any message from her.

What if something's happening to her?

I looked on my large apartment window and looked down to see the better view of the small park near me. I don't know if it's just because of my great vision but I saw her sitting on a bench watching kids play around.

I quickly grabbed my jacket and wore a face mask to cover myself and rushed outside, dying to see her.

I went a run down the stairs since the elevator is still on the top floor and just ran straight outside the apartment, running and suddenly stopped seeing Eun Ji just staring at random kids playing around the swings smiling.

It was just a very calm moment, seeing her smile made me smile too.

Eun Ji stands up, I quickly hid somewhere, trying not to be seen by her. She starts walking to another part of the park, suddenly seeing a convenience store at the street in front. She walked there and I carefully followed her from a distance, like those dramas on TV.

It took a while for her to be in there and it turned that she only bought her ultimate favorite, banana milk. Cute.

She walked back to the park and noticed kids around ages 7 or 8 riding bikes. She looks amazed by them.

I wonder what she's thinking?

AHN EUN JI'S POV
I know that I should be sad for living here right now, but... HOW COME THOSE KIDS ARE GOOD AT RIDING BIKES???????????????

I'M ALREADY 36 AND I STILL DON'T KNOW HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

I know, impossible huh?

no really, I really. don't. know. how.

The next day, I went to the rental station and rented a bike for a day to try my bike-riding skills.

And guess how many seconds I balanced myself?

NOT. EVEN. A. SECOND.

As soon as I placed my feet and pedaled forward, I quickly lost balance and turned to the side.

Just went for a quick jog and I suddenly took a break on the park I went into yesterday when I suddenly saw--
