THIRD PERSON VIEW
Jae Suk just stands at a distance, looking at Eun Ji working hard to ride the bike. As she loses balance, she stares at kids riding the bike peacefully, making her be angry at herself and just ride the bike again even though she kept trying and trying and trying, it made Jae Suk chuckle. That's when he decided to walk towards her and spoke, "Need help?"
Eun Ji got surprised and started to get her pride higher, "No, I can do it. Just watch." She said and sits on the bike, tried to pedal but she quickly falls on the ground after a second.
Jae Suk couldn't help but chuckle, "Ya, don't try to laugh at me. I just... Forgot how to ride a bike." Eun Ji told him, getting her pride even higher.
"Come here, let me help you." Jae Suk said and helped her stand up, grabbing the bike afterwards. "I'll hold you from the back." Jae Suk said moving back to let her sit on the bike.
"I don't want to." Eun Ji denied.
"Come on, I wanna teach you." Jae Suk insisted.
"I actually need to do some work, I forgot about it." Eun Ji lied.
"But you don't have any job, right?" Jae Suk asked her and smirked when Eun Ji got irritated of how smart he was, she couldn't answer back.
"Let me help you."
"I don't want to." Eun Ji replied again.
"Ah why not?"
It took a while but she answered, "I feel.... Embarrassed?"
Jae Suk chuckled, "Why would you be embarrassed when it's just me?" He asked and just stared at her.
Eun Ji got quiet and just asked him, "Don't let go, okay? Don't be like those cartoons where you let go and just let me bike around, it looks stupid."
Jae Suk laughed, "Alright, alright. Just sit first, i'll hold you, I promise."
Eun Ji had no choice but to trust him and sit on the bike, "Okay, first, you just basically have to try to keep your balance. If you're leaning on one side, just turn the handle to the other side, but you might fall if you turn it too hard. And also, if needed, you grab the brakes to slow down and stop, got it?"
Eun Ji nodded. "Keep pedaling forward." Jae Suk said and held on the back, "I'm holding here on the back so don't worry." He added. She slowly starts pedaling with a bit of a shaky way but Jae Suk kept complimenting her, "That's great. Just go slowly."
She couldn't do it at first, falling and falling here and there, but Jae Suk didn't gave up on her, "Don't be scared. You'll never fall as long as you're pedaling. Don't worry, I got your back, try it again slowly." The words made her calm herself down.
Another batch of falls and fails but it improved. "That's much better, but..." Jae Suk said and held on her shoulder, gently massaging them, "Loosen up a bit, okay? Don't be too tensed. You can do this."
After a while, the biking gets better and better until...
"Aren't you getting tired yet?" Eun Ji worried as she pedal but no one answered. She repeated the question, "Aren't you getting tired?" She looked back and noticed that Jae Suk wasn't holding her anymore, he was already quite far from her, clapping at her. "You're doing it!"
She then panicked and just lost balance again, making Jae Suk quickly run towards her. "Are you okay?" He asked but instead of Eun Ji answering, she just stands up and punches him on the shoulder, "YA! Why did you have to let me go?!" She asked playfully.
"I had to!" Jae Suk replied and laughed.
"Ah why~~~! You said you'll hold me!" Eun Ji shouted at him and made Jae Suk gasp and freeze. Eun Ji was confused, "Why? What now?"
"You needed me." Jae Suk said and smiled real wide which made Eun Ji caught guilty and blush. "It's not t-that but--" She tried to explain but Jae Suk just teased her. "You needed me, Eun Ji ah! You needed me!"
"Ya, stop! I--"
"Ahn Eun Ji needed me!!!" Jae Suk shouted and started running away from her because he knew that she was gonna chase him.
And yeah, Eun Ji got extremely embarrassed and just ran towards him, shouting, "YA, STOP IT!"
Jae Suk stopped and laughed, making Eun ji catch up to him and punch him on the chest repeatedly. "Alright, alright. I'll just pretend I didn't heard that. Let's try it again."
Eun Ji gets back on the bike after being embarrassed. "I got you, I promise, i'm serious now." Jae Suk told her.
"Don't lie to me." Eun Ji told him.
"No really, I got you. Now, go slowly again."
Eun Ji pedals again, gaining balance and slowly moves forward with Jae Suk holding at the back. "Ya, don't let go, okay?"
"I won't, I won't." What Eun Ji didn't know is Jae Suk was just walking behind the bike, speaking to make Eun Ji feel like he's here.
"Don't let go." She reminds.
"I got you, don't worry."
As Eun Ji gets further, Jae Suk stops following her and just proudly stares at her clapping. Eun Ji saw it coming so she just accepts and continues to pedal which made her smile, "I'm actually doing it!"
"Yes, keep going!!!" Jae Suk shouted. Eun Ji hits the brakes and stops near Jae Suk. She couldn't control how happy she was and just gets out of the bike and runs to Jae Suk, hugging him real tight. It caught him off guard and just hugged her back proudly. "See? I told you, you could do it."
"Thank you." She said and smiled at him, letting go of the hug.
"You're welcome. Just practice more and you'll get better and better."
Eun Ji sighed, "I'm tired."
Jae Suk laughs and suggests, "You want samgyupsal?"
"I prefer banana milk than samgyupsal."
"My treat."
"Well then, let's go for samgyupsal! Your treat, okay?"
Jae Suk chuckles, "Alright." They then walked out of the park and made Jae Suk remember something, "Oh by the way, where did you get the bike? It's quite nice."
"Oh shoot, I just rented that."
"Oh really? Don't you have a bike?"
"I don't. I should buy one someday."
The two gave the bike back and landed on the samgyupsal restaurant, eating together and getting even more comfortable with each other, casually ending the day.
