A/N:
Okay, so here's the deal. So, you know how 'The Promise' absolutely failed? Well it did. Anyway... I can't pre-write stories because my iPod is retarded and messes up the order of chapters, so I shall be taking longer to update... Buhbye!;]
-Piper-Chapter 1-
I ran.
That's all I had done that day. Infact, that is all I had done for around six months. I think it was six months, maybe more, maybe less. I lost track of the date.
Well, anyway, one day I realised something, so I turned around on my face and returned home. Well, not home, I don't have a home. It's just really a house I used to live in. They say that home is where the heart is...
When I returned to the shabby house, I sighed, catching sight of a light inside the house. I glanced at the room it was in; my room. Who was in my room? I climbed the vines up the wall and stared at Sam's unconscious body layed next to my mo-... Karen's own. With them asleep, it meant I could sneak into the house and find it.
I clambered through the small kitchen window and into the house, feeling the warmth. Mmm, I've missed warmth. I rustled around in draws, desperately trying to find it. It was nowhere to be seen.
-*-
I dropped a drawer, causing a loud thud to occur. Oops. I heard some moaning and groaning upstairs, and then the floorboards started to creak from above. Aish, where is this thingy? The footsteps came closer. Oh my god, I found it! I've got it! I reached down to collect the small package when the door rumbled open, signalling someone was about to enter. I scurried toward the window, but it was too late.
Sam stood there, gun in hand, about to shoot. Everything went in slow motion. He turned around the room, searching for the intruder, he found me, he pulled the rusty trigger, a bang was heard and there was a searing noise. I jumped out of the window and hobbled down the road, hoping Sam didn't follow.
I examined the road behind me and realised that Sam had stayed. Phew. I glared at the shack and let out a rough, shaken scream. How dare he attempt murder?
I sat down in a small field in Dublin, smiling at the parcel on my lap. On the package, there was a note written in calligraphic writing that read: -Geoff, Liam, Piper and birth certificates-.
