Sugawara's POV
Already four weeks have passed since school has started again and my third and final school year has begun. Few things have changed this new semester. One of them is that I became the vice-captain and the official setter of the volleyball team. Another change is that my classmate from middle school came back from two years and transferred to the same school as mine. Although it was hard to believe in the beginning that she came back, our bond was building up again. But there was one thing I forgot. Another classmate from middle school also entered this school. Kimura, where Ueda had a difficult time with to say goodbye, so she didn't. I feel guilty for this mistake, that I haven't informed both of them. How could I forget about this--
"SUGA!" Daichi shouted my name when I snapped back from my deep thoughts to reality. "In a over-thinking state again? What are you thinking about?"
"Oh, it's really nothing. Sorry." I shyly laughed it off, walking our way in the dark streets to school for early morning practice.
"Is it about that girl again?" Right in the bulls eye. Am I really an open book?
"Yeah.. It's just that I'm a little worried about her meeting Kimura again. That girl was bullied for a long time. I tried to help her too, but they eventually black mailed her and pestered her after school." A deep yet tired sigh escaped my lips. "Well, she's been doing okay after she entered high school, but I don't know what she feels towards Ueda."
"I think they're doing fine, stop worrying like a mother." Daichi snickered and I angrily glared at him. It was certainly not the first time I've been called a 'mother'.
"Okay, okay. I get it. But never call me mother again."
"Sure." Daichi said and still noticed my gloomy face. "You seem to have something for her, or am I wrong?"
"Why's that?"
"Never mind." He laughed it off. "But if it's troubling you, why won't you talk with her about it?"
"Yeah, maybe."

Chiyo's POV
It was lunch time and the four of us sat in a group, in our classroom. It was dark outside and raining, so we couldn't enjoy our break at our usual spot. I was rather silent in the group and just eat my lunch while half listening to the conversations between the girls and the sound of the pouring rain. Sometimes it was rather nice if the weather was dark and grey instead of always having beautiful weather. What was beautiful weather anyway? For each person it should differ right?
"Chiyocchi, you're quiet today." Natsumi said, placing her elbow on my desk and resting her chin on her hand.
"Mhm, it's because of the weather I guess."
"Ugh, I hate this shitty weather. Making me so depressive." Kimura heavily sighed and took her phone out of her bag.
"Oh yeah, almost forgot!" Meiko grinned and cheerfully clapped her hands, wanting the gloominess to disappear out of the group. "So I've been invited to this mixer that Aina's organizing! She told me to invite some people sooo.. you girls wanna join the party?"
"Depends when it is, who's coming, how late and where." Kimura said bluntly, her eyes not leaving the bright screen of her phone.
"It's this Friday after school in Utae, you know that awesome karaoke box I talked about? Well there's the mixer's gonna take place. Lot's of cute boys and some other girls."
"I'll come!" Natsumi stated happily and lifted her fists up. "I'm single anyway!"
"Well, yeah. I'll join too, I guess."
