Bonus Chapter

Levi's POV

"Y/N!!  Get back inside, you brat!"

I struggle to put my shoes on, taking quick glances up at the screen door to see Y/N prancing around in the rain.  They were soaked, including the clothes I let them borrow.

"Levi, you're no fun!  It's hot in your house!!  Come on!"

I grumble out a few curses and think for a moment.

I hate getting wet.

"No!"

They turn back around with a pout and take a few steps to the door, opening it up and grabbing my hand.

"What are you doing?!  It's pouring outside!!"

"Stop being such a cat and come out here!"

After I was fully outside, Y/N let go of my wrist and giggled.

"You look so angry, Levi."

"Because I am."

"Why?!  Doesn't this bring back memories?"

"What memories?"

"We weren't outside, but when we first kissed, it was raining."

I sit there for a moment and groan, looking down at my shoes.

"We're going to catch a cold y'know."

"That's okay, I'll be able to catch a cold with you."

They grab my hands again and pull me into a puddle, kicking around.  It irritated me a bit, but seeing that huge smile on their face made my heart soften.

"Have you ever played in the rain?"

"No."

"Danced?"

"No."

"Walked?!?!"

"Well, duh."

"Then, I'll race you to that stop sign."

"What?!  You're going to slip and fall."

"If I do you, can rub it in my face."

"Tch, you're so immature..."

Suddenly, they take off at full speed.  I follow behind them, shouting their name.

I really don't like it when they run from me.

It makes me feel like they're leaving me.

I push myself to run faster, trying to catch up to them.

Thunk

I see Y/N slip and fall into a puddle of brown water.  They get up and shake like a dog, sitting there and looking at their hands and knees.

"Y/N!!  Are you okay?!"

Fear arose inside me.  What if they broke their leg?  Or their wrist?!  They may get ring worm!!!

I finally make it to them and kneel down, looking at all their bruises.

Just from falling?

Jesus Christ.

"Hehe...oops..."

"Don't 'oops' me!  Can you walk??"

"I'll be-"

I pick them up and walk down the sidewalk and to my house, holding them close to my chest for extra warmth.

"I said I was fine."

"Even if you are, it's better safe than sorry."

"Is it just that you wanted to carry me?"

"Tch."

I sat on the edge of my bathtub as they soaked inside the soap-filled tub.  I sometimes felt the water.  It was really warm.

"Are you okay?  Is the water too hot?"

"I'm fine, thank you."

They give me a small smile and lean against the tub wall where I was sitting.  I couldn't help but notice the small bruise on their chin.

"What happened here?"

I point to the red spot and rub my finger in circles around it.

"Ah, just a happy bruise."

"Happy bruise?"

"Yeah, a bruise that made me happy."

"Why would a bruise make you happy?"

"Because, it came from you, Levi.  You gave me that bruise."

I avert my gaze and blush.

I should have known.

"Levi, can you tell me about yourself?"

"Why would you wanna know about me?"

"Because, I'm curious."

"Ask away, I guess."

"..."

There was a moment of silence before I looked over at them, seeing an expression that told it all.

"If you have any questions in the future, just ask."

They looked a bit disappointed, but I brushed them off.

I don't understand why they're acting like I'm going to leave them.

I'll always stay by their side.

Forever.

"Let's get you out of this bath."

"Yeah..."

After Y/N had put on some warm clothing, we sat down in the living room, sipping some hot chocolate.  A blanket was wrapped around Y/N, only their head peaking out as they talked to me casually.

I couldn't look at them.

If I did, I would laugh.

"Levi, what color are my eyes?"

"Huh?  How do you not know the color of your eyes?  Are you a moron?"

"No, I just never pay attention to them in the mirror, so I don't really know."  They let out a soft chuckle, their cheeks staining red.

I grab their chin and force them to look at me, taking one moment to explore their eyes.

"Your eyes do not have a color."

"Huh?"

"They have multiple.  To me, your eyes are like a book.  It tells stories, adventures.  They're one of a kind.  Something I've never seen before.  Whenever I look into them, I see a bright future.  But, its a future where I can barely see myself.  You look alone....I want to change that..."

I added the last part silently, almost getting sucked into those beautiful pupils.

Of course they didn't have a color.

Nothing as gorgeous could have a color.

"Y/N, I'm going to be in your future.  Forever.  I promise."
