A few months after the running incident with Draco, Grace had been hiding in the corners of the school silently observing. She was avoiding the blonde as best she could but her mind was still wondering back to that night, she felt bad about telling him to not notice her, she was debating on apologising. No. That's what she decided, she didn't need to apologise for asking him, as politely as she could, to leave her alone. He caused problems, that was obvious. Talking to him would attract attention and questions, questions she did not need to be asked.

Draco didn't stop noticing her but he too watched from the shadows. Not as literally as Grace but whenever she wasn't looking he watched her, he watched her laugh at tripping children and smile at the black lake. He told his father about her, he'd never felt this way about someone before. This feeling was new to him, and he liked it.

Once again Grace had woken up at an ungodly hour so she got ready the same style as last time but this time added a black leather jacket and left. She stayed in the shadows careful to go unnoticed by passing prefects. She made her way to the astronomy tower were she sat down with her feet dangling over the edge. She looked up at the stars, "what would it be like to be up there?" Grace asked aloud. She sighed and lied down staring at the stars, before she knew it tears were dripping down her cheeks. Grace didn't know why she was crying, she just was. She didn't care about anything enough to cry about it.

Eventually she fell asleep with a pool of water in her eyes.
