Saving Grace

Chapter 9

A week had past and Grace was eager to get to the Malfoy Manor. Despite the Manor being where Draco lives he's never there, he doesn't go the the meetings because his father (being the cowardly being he is) didn't want him there until Draco had proved himself worth of being there. The Main family and the Malfoy's had similar views as each other but this was something they completely disagreed on. 

The Malfoy's raised Draco on fear, but this fear is a weakness. That is something they overlooked tremendously. Draco was scared of his father and what he was capable of. He was scared of The Dark Lord and how he could end him in a heart beat. He was scared of his mother being punished for himself stepping out of line.

Grace had grown up in the Death Eater meetings because the Main family decided that by her growing up surrounded by them they would become family and would never betray them, and they were right she would rather die then sell them out. 

When Grace arrived at the Malfoy Manor she was met at the door by Bellatrix. The two girls smiled at each other and quickly hugged before Bella asked her tons of questions of how she's been since they had last seen her. By the time the meeting had started the girl had greeted everyone and was already at her seat in the corner of the room, she had never taken a seat at the table because she could see everything from her corner. 

When Her Lord came in and took a his seat at the head of the table Nagini slid on the table making its way down to the corner that Grace sat in. As the snake made its way down the long table looking at each member Grace looked at the pure terror on their faces, they had all seen Nagini eat live people on the table in front of their own eyes they new that one wrong move and the next thing the snake would be eating would be them.

In another dark corner of the room stood a boy unnoticed until The Dark Lord introduced him. All the feeling drained from her body when she heard the name being announced. 

"Draco Malfoy" Her Lord bellowed.
