It was a heartwarming sight.

A vision that Jimin had many dreams about over the last two years. Seeing Jungkook and Hwan together, their family whole finally. It was nerve wrecking. Jimin struggled with the idea of ever actually introducing Jungkook to Hwan. What if Hwan rejected him? What if Jungkook felt too stiff and awkward to be comfortable around his own pup? The questions plagued him, especially after he found out that Jungkook was coming home. But seeing the two of them together right now, told him, he'd worried over nothing. Jimin was grateful. After spending a bit of time at his Aunt's house, letting her spoil them with delicious home cooked food, the family headed back home. Jimin enjoyed listening to Hwan unloading two years' worth of conversation on his father, but every time he glanced over at Jungkook, he would see the Alpha listening intently, those beautiful doe eyes wide with wonder, his lips slightly parted as he stared up at Hwan through the mirror. It didn't surprise Jimin. Jungkook had always been amazing with pups and they had both been desperate for at least one, but life had a strange, roundabout way of working out. This made it all worth it thought. Those two, long and difficult years, it all came down to this – family. Jimin pulled up to their house and turned off the car, letting out a sigh as he leaned back and glanced up at Hwan in the mirror. Seeing that he'd finally passed out, he smiled. It was then that he felt a hand over his and he glanced at Jungkook. Jungkook was staring at him like he was the Alpha's entire world and he'd missed it.

"You okay?" Jungkook asked, gently squeezing Jimin's hand before lacing their fingers.

"I'm okay, just relieved I guess?" Jimin said, raising their joined hands and resting his forehead against them as Jungkook frowned with worry.

"Relieved?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah, I was really worried that...I dunno, things wouldn't work out." Jimin said, his voice soft, a little strained with emotion.

Jungkook's eyes widened slightly before lowering and a soft smile graced his lips.

"Baby. You stressed about this the whole time, didn't you?" Jungkook asked.

"Of course! You two are the most important parts of my life, if I couldn't have you both, it would kill me on the inside." Jimin said, lifting his head as he peered at Jungkook over their hands.

Jungkook let out a soft chuckle, leaning forward as he kissed Jimin's forehead and then nuzzled his face against his mate's.

"I never would have let that happen. We would have found a way." Jungkook said.

Both of them glancing back at Hwan when he shifted in his car seat and Jimin smiled, knowing that Jungkook was telling the truth. He was just that kind of man.

"Let's get him inside." Jimin said.

"Right, can I carry him?" Jungkook asked, looking back to Jimin.

"Of course, baby, you don't have to ask me. He is your pup too." Jimin said, shifting to get out of the car as Jungkook did the same, smiling fondly at Jimin's words.

Jungkook was careful as he undid the seatbelts and then carefully lifted Hwan into his arms, his heart skipping a couple beats as he felt the other cling to him and curl up in his hold. Jungkook held onto Hwan for dear life, waiting as Jimin grabbed Hwan's bag and then locked the car before they headed inside the house. Jimin helped Jungkook get Hwan's coat and shoes off before they tucked the toddler into his bed, making sure he was snug under his blankets as he clung to his favorite stuffed animal. Jimin turned on the baby monitor and left the door cracked before they headed for the kitchen.
