It had been several years since the events of the Breath of Evil, everyone had found a way to fix animus magic as well. All of Sunny's friends had gone off to live their own lives; Clay, Tsunami, Glory, even the dragons who were once considered strangers from the lost continent were at peace, but all she had was her school, Jade Mountain Academy, she always felt this... emptiness... like something was missing. She still had the help of her friends from time to time but the only one who actually stayed at all times was Starflight, the dragon who saw her as more than a sister, who she rejected all those years ago, and trailing behind him was that clingy jerk Fatespeaker. Everyone knew that Sunny wasn't the kind of dragon to make enemies, but Sunny wasn't sure if it was hate, or envy when she saw Starflight with Fatespeaker.

It was after school hours, all of the students were asleep in their dorms and Sunny was wandering the halls when she heard a conversation in the library. "I shouldn't eavesdrop... but Starflight is probably talking with that Fatespeaker... Ohhhh I just need to find out..." She thought to herself standing right by the entrance.

"I'm telling you... it makes no sense... why would something like that even happen in the first place? Where did this even come from?" Starfight asked, sunny could hear the clanking of metal on his desk.

"I found them in Brick's cave..." Fatespeaker responded, hearing her voice made Sunny's skin crawl.

"Why did you come to me with them? Sunny is the owner of the school now, I'm just the librarian..." Starflight sounded confused.

"NO! I mean... I just... thought you could uh... help me find out what they are?" Fatespeaker responded, sounding panicked.

"I don't think you need me to tell you what chakrams are..." He sounded skeptical.

"Well, I uh... I also wanted to see you a-" She was cut off.

"Fatespeaker... I told you this earlier... its too early for this... I just need some alone time right now..." His voice was saddening, and lonely.

"I... alright..." She replied as she started to walk out the room

Sunny bolted quietly back to her office as quickly and quietly as possible. "There is still hope for me..." she though, smiling to herself in her bed. "I still have a chance... I just need to do something perfect for him..." she drifted off into joyous dreams on that thought.
