This was all he had ever wanted, this was the void in his soul being filled, it may have taken years of awkwardness, but the hole in his heart was patched up by the one dragon in all of Pyrrhia who loved him the same way he loved her, this was the greatest day for him, he was so happy he felt like he could burst. It had been a few days since him and Sunny had confessed to each other, he hadn't heard from Fatespeaker since she saw him reading to Sunny, he wanted to worry but whenever he was with Sunny, she washed all of his fears and anxieties away like they were nothing.
He was writing a story with Sunny , a scroll about the true story of the dragonets of destiny, they chatted about their experiences, telling the stories from all angles and points of view.
"Starflight, have I ever told you how kind your voice is?" Sunny looked up at him, snuggled under the curve of his wing.
He blushed "Sunny, you are the kind one with the kind voice, I'm just a shy, weak, sad excuse of a dragon.
"Don't say things like that! You are the smartest dragon I have ever met in my life!" she took his face in her talons and they booped noses "Don't beat yourself up, you are perfect just the way you are..."
he blushed harder and put his talons on hers "Sunny, I... thank you..." he wiped away tears before picking up his scroll, but Sunny rested her paw on his talons and lowered the scroll.
"Starflight... I think I want to have a family..." he stared at her awestruck, more tears forming in both of their eyes.
"Sunny... are you sure? Dragonets are a big responsibility and... and... and I don't think I would do a good job and..." he stammered before she pressed her talons to his lips.
"Starflight... we run a school, everything will be fine." she kissed him on the snout and patted his talons. "Don't worry, we will be fine..."
He nervously adjusted his glasses, despite the enchantment it was still hard to see things sometimes. He laid down on this padding and Sunny rested her head on his, he was so joyous, he had never felt this happy and calm, all of his fear was gone as he fell asleep with the one dragon who loved him more than anything.
