He woke up feeling colder than usual, then realized Sunny wasn't next to him as he heard a clatter from the hallway.

"Probably sorting out a conflict..." he mumbled to himself as he grabbed a scroll from the shelf. Now that he was awake there was no falling back asleep, even if it was hours before sunrise. He read for a few minutes with a small candle lit next to him when he soon heard a scream of pain from the hallway, normally he wouldn't be able to do anything about it, but this time he could see, and this time it wasn't a student... it was someone who sounded very familiar, someone who was in here earlier but wasn't in the room now.

"Sunny..." he muttered, dropping the scroll and quickly blowing out the candle before scrambling for his glasses and running into the hallway.

As he dashed into the hallway, Fatespeaker, looking sleep deprived and malnourished, had Sunny pinned against the wall with a snarl, she looked like a completely different dragon and she held a bloody chakram in her talons. Sunny was pinned to the wall, a dagger in her shoulder and tears running down her face, as she turned to him he saw a long, thing cut along her left eye.

"Sunny? Fatespeaker?" he whispered in fear and shock.

"Starflight..." Sunny whispered as Fatespeaker brought the chakram close to Sunny's neck.

"Starflight! Look! I'm killing this disgusting hybrid out of my love for you! ISN'T THAT GREAT?!" Fatespeaker laughed as Starflight stared at her with fear and tears in his eyes. "Dont you love me Starflight? More that Sunny, right?" She stared at him with wide, bloodshot, expecting eyes.

"I did... about 3 years ago... now you are just a maniac and a monster..." He mumbled.

"Whats that?" She pressed the chakram closer to Sunny's neck who kept sobbing silently "I dont think I quite heard you... mind saying that again?"

"I..." he stammered before he looked around and analyzed the situation more thoroughly.

"Clock is ticking..." She yawned.

The second she closed her eyes, Starflight knew what he had to do, it was the only option as much as he didn't want to. He sharply inhaled and shot a jet of fire directly into Fatespeaker's face. She screamed in agony and dropped Sunny and the chakram to the ground and stumbled back, rage on her face.

"You... you... YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO LOVE ME! MY VISIONS HAVE NEVER LIED!" Fate speaker ran towards him and landed on top of him and clawed at his snout as he yelped in pain. Before he could fight back he felt a burning pain from his ear, he looked up as darkness crept over his vision, he saw Fatespeaker with a grim smile, as she crushed the crescent earing in her talons, and his vision went black...
