Iwaizumi grumbled, looking up at his ceiling. It was probably 8:30 pm, not super late but this was around the time Oikawa and him would face time..yet Oikawa still hadn't called him yet.

He grabbed his phone and looked at it for the 10th time tonight, still nothing. He grabbed his Oak brown colored blanket then wrapped himself in it, muttering something about Loyalty.

Boom!

Iwaizumi shot up from his bed to the loud noise. "What the actual fuck-?"

"Hajime! No cursing!" His mother shouted from the other room.

He sighed, looking out his window- a thunderstorm. He rolled his eyes laying back down on his mattress then it hit him- Oikawa wasn't a fan of thunderstorms.

He quickly rolled off his bed, hitting his head on the floor. "Damn it.." he hissed. He hit his head a few times then grabbed his Phone, finding Oikawa's contact them clicking the call button.

{With Oikawa}

'Damn it..why now if all times- Why did it have to rain today!?' Oikawa mentally yelled.

He was curled up in his fluffy alien blanket whimpering everytime he heard a loud boom.

"Toru? I brought you some milk bread, wanna open the door?" his dad called.

"Uhm, N-no. Thanks though!" Oikawa mumbled.

"Hun, he refused milk bread. I'm scared-" Oikawa heard his dad gasp, making Oikawa giggle slightly.

Just then a clap of lightning sounded, making Oikawa scream unexpectedly.

"SON!?"

"HUNNY!? ARE YOU OKAY!?" his parents hollered, banging on his door.

His phone started ringing, he picked it up shakily as he read the ID.

Oikawa quickly hit the answer button, Iwaizumi's video was on so Oikawa turned his on as well but he kept his face hidden.

"Kawa? Are you okay, that lightning was pretty loud- Wait, are you crying?" Iwaizumi said, cutting himself off.

"N-no, soon I might be though..I'm kinda scared." Oikawa admitted nervously.

"It's okay to cry, after all you've never really been a fan of thunderstorms." Iwa chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.

Oikawa was going to respond again but the loud roar of thunder and the light of lighting cut him off, he yelped at the sudden flash of light and sound.

"I'm coming over." Iwaizumi said.

"W-what? No! You'll g-get all wet, Idiot!"

"So what? I'll see you in a bit." Iwaizumi stated, hanging up.

Oikawa sighed, grabbing a near by pillow and laying down under his bed. "It shouldn't be to loud under here.." Oikawa mumbled.

The thunder and lightning grew louder by the minute, every boom Oikawa's parents would ask if he was okay. It had already been 20 minutes since he and Iwa had talked yet he still isn't here. That made Oikawa worry.

"Mom..is Iwa here yet?" Oikawa mumbled.

"No hunny, don't worry though.. I'm sure he'll be here soon!" she replied, smiling.

Oikawa whimpered, as another lightning bolt was to be seen. This was was the loudest one yet.

He felt his eyes water, his lip began to quiver, he gripped his blanket tightly.

"Toru! He's here!" His mother called.

Oikawa quickly claimed out from under his bed, he dropped his blanket and quickly opened the door.

"Kawa..baby come here." Iwaizumi said with a small frown.

Oikawa happily hugged his tightly.

"Thank you, Hajime." Oikawa's mother smiled.

"Anytime."

He then picked Oikawa up, holding his legs to support his body. Iwaizumi walked into the room and set Oikawa on the bed. He then grabbed his blanket of the floor, laying down next to the latter pulling him close.

"Sorry I took so long, I didn't want to drive so I walked." Iwaizumi said, playing with Oikawa's brown fluffy hair.

"You shouldn't have come either way..it's danger-" Oikawa screamed suddenly, the lightning startled him.

"Baby, hey calm down! This is exactly why I came over, move over a bit..I brought someone for you." Iwaizumi said, kissing Oikawa's head.

He handed Oikawa some ear muffs. "This should block the sound, here." Iwaizumi said.

Oikawa nodded, taking the ear muffs and placing them over his ears. He then curled back up against Iwaizumi's side.

"Night baby, I love you."
