Walking through the halls of Abou-josai, Oikawa grumbled. He and his best friend had an argument recently, something stupid about Oikawa's ex.

"Damn it." He whispered to himself as he saw Iwaizumi laughing with a few other classmates.

He sat down in his chair and put his head down. As he was doing so Iwaizumi couldn't help but stare at him. They haven't talked for a total of four days now, the excruciating silence was killing him.

As much as he would hate to admit, he loved having his annoying friend around. His weird nicknames, his non-stop whining, his stupid remarks..he missed it all.

"IWAIZUMI!" Mattsun screamed.

"Mattsun! Shut up!" the teacher yelled, rolling his eyes and looking back at his phone.

"Huh- sorry what were you saying?" Iwaizumi asked.

"Why do you keep looking at Oikawa? Just go talk to him, idiot." Mattsun groaned, tired of watching Iwaizumi watching Oikawa.

"I can't." he groaned.

"Why? He's your best friend? And future husband-" Mattsun teased.

"Boyfriend first, then husband." Makki corrected.

"Uh- what!?" Iwaizumi said.

The males laughed loudly at their friend, watching his face turn red was simply amusing.

Hajime Iwaizumi's P.O.V

'Are you kidding me? Me like Oikawa!? Child play. I obviously love him- what the hell am I fucking thinking-'

Groaning, I unlocked my phone and clicked Oikawa's contact to text him.

'Hahaha! Bubble gum- really Iwa-chan. Your so stupid. Or maybe that's me- whatever!'

Iwa-chan looks like he is blushing, I wonder what he's blushing about.

I'm honestly bored. During class I would be texting Atsumu but now that he and Sakusa took the 'next step' in their relationship he doesn't have enough time!! Ugh!

Great.. Iwa-chan is doing school work as usual so now I don't have anything to dooo! You know what- too bad Atsumu! I'm gonna annoy you!

After school, just as said Iwaizumi and Oikawa met up at a nearby park. It was very awkward at first especially for Iwaizumi considering he was about to kiss his best friend and he knew there were a certain two people watching in the bushes.

"Sooo, Iwa~chan! Why did you want to meet up all of a sudden?" Oikawa asked with a smile.

"Uh..gimme a second." Iwaizumi mumbled, covering his reddened cheeks.

He pulled out a piece of bubble gum then put it in his mouth, as he began chewing. He then grabbed Oikawa's wrist and pulled him closer.

"I-Iwa?" Oikawa stuttered as his face turned red.

"You said you liked bubble gum when we were kids..wanna try this kind?"

Oikawa nodded, his best friend was about to kiss him..just so he could taste bubble gum.

Having the consent he needed, Iwaizumi connected their lips together then slipped his tounge in Oikawa's mouth, transferring the gum to his.

Iwaizumi pulled away and smiled. "How does it taste?"

"Yummy!" Oikawa smiled.

"Uh about the kiss thing-" Iwaizumi started.

"Will you- you, uhm-...be my b-boyfriend?" Iwaizumi managed to say, tripping up on his words here and there.

"Haha! Cute Iwa! Yes, very much yes!"

"And that's how your father and I got together!" Oikawa smiled, patting little Orichi's head.

"Witt bubble gum?" Orichi asked once more.

"With bubble gum." Oikawa responded.

"Babe- what are you two talking about?" Iwaizumi said as he entered the room.

Oikawa and Orichi smiled, running up to him and hugging him tightly.

"I was telling him the story of how you confessed to me~"

"Oh, well did you tell him the story about how that one time you peed yourself on our second date?" Iwaizumi said bluntly.

"Papa did what-"
