Escape in the Night

Chapter 7

*Short Chapter*

Robins POV:
I woke up slowly. At first I didn't want to wake up till I felt a body on top of me. And then remembered it was Regina. I looked down and she was still asleep. She looked so peaceful and cute. I looked at the clock. 9:17am.

I rub her back softly and kissed the top of her head. She stirred a little bit before snuggling more into my chest and stayed asleep.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said loud enough for them to her but not too loud to wake Regina up.

It was Snow.

"She still asleep?" She asked shocked a little.

"Yes, why is that such a shock?" I asked.

"Because she is usually up at about 6:30am," she tells me. I chuckled a little causing her to whine. "Anyway, breakfast will be ready at 10:30."

"Ok thank you," I tell her. She nodded and then leaves.

Regina tried her best not to wake up and get that little bit of sleep left but failed. She let out another whine and pushed her head more into my neck. I rub her back softly.

"Good morning," I softly whispered.

"No, I want to sleep more." She whimpered.

"Baby it is already 9:23am," I tell her.

"That's late, I never sleep in this late." She tells me.

"I know. Snow told me," I state.

"Oh, but I'm going back to sleep. It's too early to be up." She said.

"You just said it was late," I chuckled.

"Shh, you don't remember me saying that," she said softly before falling back asleep.

It was about 15 minutes later and I had to use the bathroom. So I move from under Regina and she let out a whimper before opening her eyes.

"I'm just going to use the bathroom," I tell her.

"Ok," she slurred.

I laugh a little before using the bathroom. When I come back out Regina was asleep again. How does she fall asleep so much?

I walk over to the bed and kiss her head, then her forehead, then her cheek and she little out the most cutest giggle I have ever heard. It was a sleepy giggle too which made it more adorable.

"You are too cute," I whisper.

"No," she whined before hiding under the blankets.

"Come on princess, we have to get dressed and go eat breakfast." I tell her.

"Pancakes?" She asked.

"I don't know. But we well have to go see," I said.

I helped her out of the bed before heading to my room to change into clothes. After I was done I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said.

Regina poked her head in a smiled. I laughed because I know she wanted to be near me.

"Come here," I say.

She walks over to me and wraps her arms around my neck.

"I like cuddling with you," she whispered.

"Me too," I say.

"I sleep better. Usually I'm up every few hours from a nightmare and then I'm up at 6:30am and can't go back to sleep," she tells me softly.

"Baby," I said.

"Please don't hurt me, I love our relationship and I really like you. Plus I don't ever want to lose you because I'm already attracted to you so now I don't think I can live without you," she rambled.

She was about to continue but I stop her by kissing her. When I pulled away she had the biggest smile one her face. I smile back.

"Did you take your pills?" I asked.

"Mhm," she said putting her head on my shoulder and pushing it into my neck.

"Baby you can't go to sleep," I tell her.

"Why not? You are comfy," she softly said.

"Come on you have to eat," I said standing up.

Regina let out a whine.

"No," she said with tears in her eyes.

"Baby, you have to eat." I tell her.

"I'm just so tired," she whispered.

"How about after breakfast we can come back up here and go back to sleep?" I said.

"Yea," she said softly before leaning into me.

"Come on princess," I say, grabbing her hand and walking out of the room.

As we were walking she went on about how her mother wants her to become queen. And how she didn't want to be queen. She also went on about how she loved to read books.

We got to the dinning room and sat down before eating. Regina didn't eat much because she was tired.

"Regina honey, are you ok?" Eva asked.

"Mm?" She said.

"She is tired. I don't think she has gotten much sleep lately and it is just now catching up to her," I say.

"That makes sense. Why don't you take her up to her room to sleep some more," she said.

"Thank you," I tell her.

"Just take care of her," she said.

"Come on," I say holding my hand out for. She took it and stood up.

We made it to her bedroom and she sighed while taking her shoes off

"Do you want to change?" I asked her.

She looks at me before pulling on the shirt I was wearing.

"You want one of my shirts to wear?" I asked. She nodded her with a sleepy smile.

"Ok let me go get one," I tell her but she didn't let go of my hand. I look at her. "You want to come?" I asked. She nodded.

We walked into my room and I grabbed a shirt for her to sleep in. She then walks in to the bathroom that was in the room and changed. She came back out and got into bed. I laughed at this.

"You want to sleep in here?" I asked. She nodded.

"Come. I want to cuddle," she whined.

"Ok, I'm coming." I say.

I take off my shoes and climbed into bed next her. She immediately put her body on top of mine, pushing her head into my neck and slowly fell asleep.
