Robins POV:
When I woke up, Regina was curled up next to me with her arms holding the fox stuffy tightly to her chest. Her long hair was covering the pillow she was using and some of her hair was covering her face. So I take my hand and brush it out of her face. She scrunched her nose and it was the most cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. This was a moment to capture so I took my phone and took a picture before setting it as my Lock Screen. I smile at the picture. How can anyone hurt her? She so cute and precious and kind-hearted.
I get out of bed and put my shirt back on before going downstairs to make breakfast. I grab the bacon, sausage, eggs, and pancakes mix.
As I was mixing the pancake batter I heard Regina coming down the stairs. She wrapped her arms around my waist and laid her head on my back.
"Good morning baby," I say as I finish mixing the batter.
"Good morning bubba," she said softly.
I turn around in her arms before wrapping my arms around her. I can feel her smile against my chest.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"For?" I asked.
"Last night. I was just scared and then I didn't recognize where I was so I started to panic thinking I was with Graham again," she said pulling away and playing with her fingers.
It broke my heart to see all the scars on her wrist and thighs. And it looked like she had some recent ones too.
"Are they from Graham?" I asked.
"Huh?" She asked looking up at me.
"These," I say as I softly lift her wrist.
"Yeah," she whispered with tears in her eyes.
"Baby," I say.
"I know we said we would work on stopping but it is so hard. It's hard not to do it anymore and Graham made it worse," she said.
"Hey, I know it isn't going to be easy to stop this habit. But that's what I'm here for. Is to help you stop. I don't care if it takes years. As long as you are still alive we are ok," I tell her.
"You're in for the long run?" She asked.
"Yea I'm in for the long run," I say.
"I love you," she said before kissing me.
"I love you too," I say as I pull away.
"Can I help make breakfast?" She asked cheerfully.
"Yea but you can't cook with a stuffy in your hand," I state smiling.
"But, he wants to cook too," she said holding him out.
"Nope, because he could get all messy and catch on fire." I tell her. She gasped and pulled the stuffy to her chest tightly.
"I don't wanna cook anymore," she said.
"Picking the stuffy over me I see," I say.
"Umm... you can have extra cuddles," she said with a smile.
"I will take it," I say.
"K make breakfast I'm hungry," she stated as she took a sit in a chair on the opposite side of the island table.
I continued to make breakfast for the both of us as she went on about the cruse and her life being cursed. It was cute to see her ramble on about this.
"Ok here," I say handing her a plate of food.
"Thank you," she said.
"Mhm," I say.
We are ate our food before she asked if we can watch tv.
As we watched tv I couldn't help but look at her scars. It brought tears to my eyes seeing her in this much pain that she has to do this to herself. It hurt even worse to know I couldn't really do anything to help her get through this better. I didn't even know tears had fallen till I felt Regina's tiny hand wipe them away.
"Why are you crying bubba?" Regina asked as she got tears in her own eyes now.
I pulled her to where she was straddling me and just sat there for a minute.
"Bubba? Please answer my question. You are scaring me," she said softly.
"I'm sorry baby. It's just.." I sigh. "I just hate seeing you in pain like this and I can't do anything about it,"
"You can do things. Like be there for me like you always are, or spoiling me with love. That's all I need right now," she tells me.
"Can you tell me what happened with Graham?" I asked and I immediately felt her tense up. "I got you baby. Graham can't hurt you."
"It was the day me, you and the friend group went to the river in April one day because it was hot..." she started off.
