Some nights we fight we scream
We don't know what to do

He raised his fist hesitantly, knocked on the door twice, "Diluc."

A sniffle caught his ears before the door opened, revealing a puffy eyed young master, "Kaeya?"

"Can I come in?"

Diluc nodded. He stepped away from the door to let Kaeya in. Once the other guy inside, he locked the door. Trapping them both for some alone time.

Today is Master Crepus' death.

And the beaming light that usually radiated from the two young men was nowhere to be seen.

The redhead plopped down on the bed. Head in his hand. Angry tears streamed down his face. Sobs desperately being held from coming out. "I can't believe they said that," mumbled with shaky voice. A sob slipped out, then followed by another.

Kaeya didn't have the courage to sit beside him. "Luc, there's something I want to tell you," he said.

"What is it? Don't tell me you agree with them. I quit, you should--"

"No, that's not it," Kaeya cut him off.

Diluc didn't say anything, but he locked his eyes at the younger guy.

The blue-head gulped. Those crimson eyes were staring at him so intensely. Being gazed by those eyes felt like being showered by fiery arrows. He wanted to turned back, to left and hide. But that means he'll lie again. He didn't want to lie anymore, especially to someone who gave him so much warmness.

"Luc, I was sent here under a mission."

Those crimson eyes widened, "What?"

Make it quick, I have to make this quick.

"I'm a spy, from Khaenri'ah."

Bitter laugh slipped past Diluc's lips, "This is not the time for some jokes, Kae."

"I'm not joking, Diluc."

Oh when Kaeya called him that, he was serious.

"So you're a spy..." Diluc trailed off, "Are you also one of those behind father's death?"

"No! Of course not!"

It's not supposed to be like this.

"Then what?!" the redhead snapped as he stood up. Eyes flaming with anger.

"Yes, I'm a spy, but I didn't kill father!" Kaeya tried to defend himself.

"Liar!"

"No, I'm not, Luc!"

"How do you expect me to believe you, Spy from Khaenri'ah?" Oh, that was hurt.

"I.. I--"

"Grab your sword!"

Before Kaeya managed to say anything, he was dragged outside. Sword calloused hand gripped his wrist so tight that he thought his blood might stop flowing. He stumble here and there. Calling Diluc's name multiple times, hoping the other guy would listen to him. His body was shoved roughly to the wet ground. Silver blade that shone despite being in the dark pointed to his neck. Kaeya looked up.

"Fight me!"

In fear, the blue-head shook his head.

"Stand up now! Fight me!"

When the blade touched the skin of his neck, Kaeya stood up shakily. He didn't want to die, but he didn't want to fight Diluc too. With trembling hand, he unsheathed his sword.
