"Hey Jongho!" Yuuji shouted from inside the school building. "If we don't get to the cafeteria we won't have any food left!"
Jongho went back inside the building with him. His mind wandered to the magic that had protected her the night prior. She shouldn't need it anymore but the only way for him to remove it was to go to her home and do it himself. He sighed, shaking his head. There was no way that she would allow him to follow her home. Besides he had other tasks he needed to focus on. Yeosang had informed him that morning that he would need to meet with the King of this galaxy as a formal introduction. It was to be expected as an informal delegation. His father had probably sent a letter of introduction months prior. On top of that he would have to meet the heads of the noble families here and entertain their questions. It would be a long drawn out day.
"Dude, stop spacing out! The lunch lady is waiting," Yuuji slapped Jongho's back to snap him out of his thoughts. Jongho coughed, that hit was unexpectedly hard.
"What do you recommend?" He hadn't really bothered to look at the selection. The woman behind the counter raised her eyebrow at him.
"It's lunch. Either get a sandwich or pizza." She glanced at the long line behind him. "Today would be great."
"I'll take pizza." Jongho decided not giving it much thought.
The rest of the school day went by in a blur. Yuuji had stuck to his side like gum at the bottom of his shoe. Jongho wasn't sure what had brought the sudden friendship along but it would help him get to know the in's and outs of the school. When the day ended he gave Yuuji a short goodbye bye, turning down his offer to go into the city. Honestly it would have been a better educational experience for him to tour the city and get to know the citizens but the King and nobles had to come first. Yeosang, his butler greeted him at the school gates with his usual bow. Some students stared at them so Jongho nudged him to stand up.
"Remember we haven't disclosed to them that I'm a prince. So could you refrain from the usual bowing?"
"If I did that, my Prince, your father will have my head."
"Father isn't here."
"As if that has stopped him from reprimanding me before." Yeosang shook his head. "Moving on, you need to get changed into more formal attire to meet King Se Jong along with three of the noble families. There are five but the other two had prior engagements and want to meet you at a later date."
"Great. A two part meeting."
"Prince Jongho keep the sarcasm down. I hear that Milky Way nobles are worse than those in Andromeda."
"Beautiful." His words dripped with blatant sarcasm, ignoring his Knight's warning.
They continued their bantering as Yeosang led him into a sleek black car. They arrived at the wealthier district of the city and into a tailor shop. Yeosang had already picked out an appropriate suit. Even if he didn't like it there was no room to try and pick another one. Just as the thought passed Yeosang's mind the Prince gave him a displeased look. Yeosang ignored him.
They arrived at the Imperial Palace quickly, it was only a twenty minute car ride from the tailor. The guards escorted Yeosang and the Prince into the throne room where King Se Jong and Queen Min Su sat. Their royal capes, crowns, shoes and scepters glittering in the setting sun. At one side a row of noble women stood and bowed along with the other side of noble men. Prince Jongho came to the foot of the thrones and bowed low.
"Your Majesties, it is an honor to meet the both of you. I am Crown Prince Choi Jongho of the Andromeda Galaxy Kingdom." He stood tall then turned slightly to his left. He gestured to Yeosang to do the same. Yeosang bowed even lower than Prince Jongho, denoting his status as his servant.
