25: Evershall or Marvest?

Marshall

"Okay Marshall..." Zoey began, "tell me everything"

I got kind of scared now that she acted like as if she knows everything.. I was trembling to even say a word but I wanted to take it out of my mouth. So I told her everything that I saw and how and why I ended up coming here.

"From your face I could see that something was wrong. I believe there is something that made Everest do that because I know for sure she wouldn't do it. Seeing her in rescues and all I figured out that she is a very kind-hearted pup. She truly is when I saw her in person." Zoey told me.

"I know.. I just know that it wasn't her.. the way she was looking at me with that smirk definitely told me that it's not her. She was not in there. I could totally feel it." I said.

"My advice in situations like these is that always listen to the other's explanation or else sometimes you end up making the biggest mistake of your life. Some may don't have a valid explanation but in this situation I believe that Everest definitely have one, just listen to it once." Zoey said and smiled.

"Yup you are right. I will. But even if it is very understanding, I think we need to take a break after all of this. I am exhausted anyways." I told.

"I understand. It's up to you to decide, whatever you think is right just do it. You and Everest are an amazing couple. During rescues whenever you guys are together, there is always chemistry, whenever you look at each other your eyes sparkles. I have noticed it and I shipped you guys throughout the whole time. Now that my ship had finally sailed, it sank. I am very upset about what happened today and I really hope you guys get back together, or at least, as friends." Zoey said, "By the way, even I am exhausted! Guess what? Today the whole day I was out with my friends, bunny and mole. We played catch and ohh myyy goooddd! It was so fun!!" 

She told me her story about her and bunny and mole. So many funny things that happened to them. She was telling me by doing so many funny and weird actions which made me laugh so hardly that I thought that I could after what happened today. Zoey is probably the best person to go go whenever you got a major breakdown or anything like that. She will totally make you forget about it. After an intense amount of laughing, we finally stopped.

"So, since we are both exhausted, let's do something to relax. Maybe watch a movie or something?" She suggested. "Sure! Great idea!" I replied.

We sat down on the couch and Mirrors of compatible with blankets, snacks and everything. We started watching the movie and I realised that I was still wearing my sports kit. So I thought of maybe taking it off then when I took it off something fell from my pocket and fell down from the couch. I went down on the floor and picked it and saw that it was the chocolate ring which I brought for Everest on the way back from the mission, her favorite. 

Tears filled in my eyes intensely and I wanted to burst into crying but then Zoey asked me, "What happened Marshall? You just froze while changing." I turned around and replied, "Oh nothing! Just that I found this in my pocket, you can take it if you want. Take it as a gift from me." I handed her the chocolate ring. I was on the floor and she was taking it from the couch so I was in a position where my one knee was bend down also my sports shirt was slinging around my neck.

"Tha-" Zoey was about to thank me but was cut off..

Everest

I then opened the door, only to see one of my many thoughts come true! My thought of what if something was happening between Marshall and Zoey? 

They were in a position where Zoey was on the couch and Marshall was on the floor with his one knee bent down, his sports shirt slinging around his neck and he was giving Zoey a.... chocolate ring! My favorite! Zoey was about to thank him but then I cut in.
