Chapter 3~ Addison arrives late

After waiting another twenty minutes, the school bell rang and Zed headed to class worried.
"You okay Zed ?" Eliza asked confused.
"Addison hasn't showed up to school yet, and she hasn't answered any of my texts, I should be worried right ??" Zed looked at Eliza with scared emotions all over his face.
"Look Zed, stop, just sit down and focus, I'm sure she will be okay." Eliza managed to calm Zed down but he still had that nervous look on his face.

Jacey walks into class, his head was dropped and he was hiding his face.
"Jacey !" Bucky shouted loudly.
"What Bucky.. ?" Jacey had a tear rolling down his cheek.
"Why have you been so... not you, today ?!" Bucky started to question Jacey, and was acting very impatient.
"Look Bucky, there is nothing wrong with me okay !" Jacey starts to give an attitude.
"Oh really Jacey, I sense something is wrong, maybe start thinking about the way you talk to me first !" Bucky shouts at Jacey and glares at him.
"I'm sorry" Jacey starts to cry heavily and runs out the room.
"Oh well done Bucky, you can't even be nice to your crush?!" Wyatt says and laughs at Bucky.
"Crush !? Crush !? What the heck are you on about ??..." Bucky looked at the class awkwardly.
"Yeah Bucky we all see it, stop hiding yourself, omg I sound like Addison..." Willa says then looks down.
"Yeah just a little bit like Addison..."  Wynter laughs at Willa.
"Who cares who you sound like, Willa is right Bucky, Zombies and werewolves let go of their secrets, it's time for humans to do the same." Eliza says as she smiles at Willa.
"Thank you Eliza ! That's exactly what I mean, I just didn't exactly mean to say it in Addison's tone..." Willa smiles awkwardly.
"Bucky I'm sure the teacher won't care if you go check on Jacey, you gotta be there for a friend... or boyfriend ??" Wyatt says and looks at the teacher.
"Yes Bucky, go check on Kevin, or whatever you call him, it's not like you focus in my lesson anyways." The teacher says as he rolls his eyes.
"Okay, phew... I mean yes of course I'll check on him." Bucky said as he rushed out of class.
"So is there something between them two then?" The teacher said as he looked at the wolves.
"Oh we say it as a joke but maybe, things could happen, so we will see." Wyatt says to the teacher and giggles.
"Has anybody seen Addison today ?" The teacher looked around the class.
"No sir, we haven't seen her, I'm starting to get worried... ." Zed said as he began to get out his seat.
"Woahhh hold up Zed, I never said you could leave." The teacher looked at Zed confused.
"But you let Bucky go ??" Zed asked.
"Yes but the difference is Zed, Jacey is in school and I have seen him this morning, I can't have you leaving my classroom when Addison might not even be in school. I understand that you want to see her but you'll have to wait, because I can't let you go in this class." The teacher said as he carried on with the lesson.

As Bucky walked down the corridor, he saw Jacey at his locker and walks over to him.
"Hey, Jacey... ." Bucky said awkwardly.
"What do you want Bucky, that really upset me and I had to run out of class in tears." Jacey said as a tear fell.
"I came here to apologise, I didn't mean to upset you, you're one of my best cheerleaders Jacey and I hate seeing you upset, I just really want to know what's going on with you." Bucky said as he put his hand on Jacey's shoulder.
"Bucky, it's difficult, you wouldn't understand." Jacey wiped away his tears.
"Well I wouldn't understand until you tell me, so please, let me know." Bucky tried to comfort Jacey.
"Okay fine, last night, I was outside, I were sat in my tree in the garden looking at the stars, and then all of a sudden, a huge ball of blue light flew down from the sky, I had no clue what to do but it sure did scare me." Jacey looked into Buckys eyes.
"Oh wow, so maybe you had seen a comet Jacey, but no because they're very rare, maybe a shooting star ?" Bucky looked really surprised.
"No it was bigger than a shooting star Bucky, it was giant !" Jacey looked at Bucky frightened.
"Hey, hey, no, you don't need to be scared Jacey, is there anything else I should know ?" Bucky knew that Jacey was hiding something.
"Well I guess so, a few things... ." Jacey looked into Bucky's eyes.
"Well we have time to talk about it Jacey, go ahead !" Bucky gently sat on the ground with Jacey.
"Well, firstly, it's about when you saved me, you saved me from the forest and then found me a step family." Jacey began to shake through nerves.
"Yes of course I remember that day, one of my best days ever in fact ! But why did you bring that up ?" Bucky looked into Jacey's eyes.
"Well the thing is Bucky, I'm different too, I come from a family of koalas... my necklace is what keeps me a human.... ." Jacey looked down and shook heavily.
"Oh wow... a koala... Jacey, I know what people say about me not accepting people for who they are, but that was make belief, and you think I care if you're a koala or not !? It's pretty darn cute !" Bucky hugged Jacey tight and smiled.
"Wow, really, so you're not mad at me ??" Jacey's eyes opened widely and began to smile.
"Mad at you !!? Why would I ever be mad at you !!? You make the cheer squad amazing !!" Bucky rubbed Jacey's head.
"And the other thing... I bet you know where this is going by now... ." Jacey looked back into Bucky's eyes.
"Yeah, I know where this is going Jacey, you like me don't you ?" Bucky smiled and held Jacey's hand.
"Yeah I do... ." Jacey looked at Bucky's hand and blushed.
"Well Jacey, you're gonna make me tear soon, you are an amazing boy, and the truth is... I like you too... ." Bucky slowly moved in. Bucky initiated the first move and all of a sudden he leant into Jacey and kissed his lips.
"You carry on being a little cheer star koala boy." Bucky giggled and walked away.
"Thank you Bucky I will do !" Jacey smiled and walked away.

Addison ran into the school, she saw Bucky and ran to him losing her breath." Cuz !!" Addison shouted at Bucky.
"What the heck cuz !! Where have you been !? Zed has been worried sick about you, and you've not responded to Jacey bear either !!" Bucky looked at Addison with a serious face.
"Wait did you say Jacey bear ??" Addison looked at Bucky shocked.
"Oh erm... hahaha no of course I didn't, anyways ! Answer my question cuz ! Where have you been ??" Bucky took Addisons arm.
"Fine, my alarm didn't go off this morning, all the power was out in my house too, my phone hasn't charged, and I didn't wake up until school had already started !!" Addison explained to Bucky the situation and took her arm back.
"Okay, that is weird, everyone else's power was fine, whatever, it's lunch time soon, go get yourself sorted cuz, I'll catch you later !" Bucky smiled and walked to the cheerleading room.
