Chapter Two~ Date Night (unedited)

IMPORTANT A/N Hey guys, wanted you all to know the Luke and Shaw POV's will always be written by Shaw, and the Ashton/Delilah POV's will be written by Delilah (delilahkat17) unless we state otherwise. Ashton P.O.V.

The boys and I decided to have a movie night and invite Delilah. (Shaw was away visiting her grandparents.) I'm actually really nervous for her to come over. I mean we've only known each other for a couple months but I just get these amazing feelings whenever we're together. Anyways I need to go get things ready for tonight.

      Time Skip

"I'll go microwave the popcorn," I offer, moving to get off the couch."Don't leave me," Delilah whines pulling me back,"Do you want popcorn or not?" I ask, although I let her pull me back to her. "I guess," she sighs, letting me go. I get up to see Calum watching us from the other side of the room. I blush hurrying to the kitchen. I jump when I hear a voice from behind me, "So when are you gonna tell her you like her?' "Calum!" I exclaim, "You scared me." "Sorry," Calum laughs, "Seriously when are you gonna tell her?" "I don't like her," I lie, looking away to hide my reddining cheeks. "It's so obvious," Calum says, rolling his eyes. "Is it really?" I whisper nervously. Calum nods. "But it's obvious she likes you back," Calum adds. I blush even harder at his words. "You think?" I ask hopefully. Michael nods and I smile widely. "You've gotta make a move!" "What do I do?" I sigh. Calum thinks for a second before replying, "Just kiss her." My eyes widen and I shake my head. "It's a good idea," Calum insists, "We'll leave you two alone during the movie and when the time is right, kiss her!" I open my mouth to argue but Calum cuts me off. "Great! It's a plan," with that he disappears from the room, leaving me to think over my planas I wait for the popcorn.

After the popcorn was done I walked back into the living room. I sit on the couch and slowly wrap my arm around Delilah's shoulder. I glance nervously at Calum. He had already gotten rid of Luke and Michael, but his plan was to set the mood before leaving the two of us alone.

Delilah's P.O.V.

"There's a glare on the TV," Calum mutters, getting to his feet, "I'm just gonna dim the lights." He gets up and does so. He then looks around happily. "Romantic!" He says with a satisfied nod. He sits next to me, stretching out to take up the majority of the couch. "Could you scoot over?" He asks, although he has all the room he needs. I oblige, inching closer to Ashton. Ashton smiles down at me and pulls me closer. "Hey," he whispers, grinning. "Hey," I breathe, my gaze moving from his eyes to his lips. I subconsciously lean closer and Ashton does the same. I pause, my lips less than an inch from his own. He closes the gap, meshing our lips together. I kiss back, smiling as his hands move up to cup my face. I reach up, tangling my hands in his hair as the kiss deepens. Ashton pulls me onto his lap and continues to kiss me until we hear a small cough. Pulling away begrudgingly, I'm surprised to see Calum still on the couch. "You were supposed to wait until I left," he mutters. "Right," Ashton agrees, blushing. "You can leave now," Ashton invites. "Not even a 'thanks for setting the mood, Calum!' I see," Calum sniffs as he makes his way to the door. "Well have fun you two," he adds with a wink.

"What does he mean we were supposed to wait until he left?" I asked, looking to Ash in confusion. "Oh, funny story," he chuckles, biting his lip. "Let's hear it," I invited. "Calum knew I liked you," he explains, "So he was giving me advice on how to, ya know, make a move. And so he told me he'd help me tonight." "Is that why he sent Luke and Michael to go buy ice cream halfway through the movie?" I ask, laughing a little. He nods, blushing and looking away from my amused eyes. "And why he dimmed the lights." Ashton continues. "And pushed you closer to me on the couch." he adds, grinning at me and blushing. "You are such a dork," I giggle, shaking my head in disbelief. I bury my face in his chest, unable to contain my giggles. "Stooooop," he groans in embarassment.
