Chapter 2

Maya's POV

Riley and I walked into the cafe after school. We are waiting for Farkle to show up. We sat down in a booth with r hot chocolate and we see Farkle walk in.

"Farkle over here!" Riley shouts

"Riles I think he can see us" I said embarrassed because everyone in the cafe was staring at Riley

"No he can't. Farkle! Farkle!" Riley shouted as I sunk down in my seat

"Hey ladies" Farkle said sitting down next to me across from Riley

"Hey" I said

"Hey Farkle, how was ur day, we barley have any classes together" Riley said

"I know it's sucks, and I hav so many classes with Lucas which is just awkward" Farkle said

"Did he talk to you" I asked

"No, but I heard that u got him to stop bullying a nerd" Farkle said

"Yea! And Maya also has a boy-"

I stood up and layed on the table covering Riley's mouth with one of my hands.

"What was she gonna say?" Farkle asked

"Nothing, right Riley?" I said slowly removing my hand from her mouth

"MAYA HAS A BOYFRIEND!" Riley shouted

The whole cafe looked at us. And just before Riley shouted that Lucas came in. Lucas walked over to our table.

"So Maya has a little boyfriend huh?" Lucas asked smiling

"Yes!" Riley shouted smiling at me

"Riley for that last time no I don't!" I said frustrated

"What's wrong Maya? Don't want me to know about ur little nerd love?" Lucas smirked

I stood up and Farkle grabbed my arm.

"Maya don't, that's just what he wants u to do" Riley said

"Ugh" I said and sat back down

"Oh I see Maya isn't so tuff with her nerdy little friends around" Lucas mocked

"Their not nerds, and at least I have REAL friends that ACTUALLY care about me!" I yelled

"Yeah!" Riley said

"Come on guys let's go" Farkle said

We walked out of the cafe leaving Lucas shocked. Wow. He turned out a jerk.

Lucas's POV

Maya has a date? Why doesn't she like me like the rest of the girls at school? Every girl likes Lucas Friar. Right?

I showed up at me friend's house bob's house with some weed. I went in and we bro hugged. We hung out for a while and did some drugs.

"So man what's with that Maya chick?" Bob asked

"What do u mean?" I said

"She like totally owned u today and u just took it." bob said

"Yea so" I said

"Didn't u guys used to be friends and stuff" bob asked

"Yea" I said

"Oh so that's why u didn't tell her off" bob said

"What?" I asked

"U like that Maya chick, which I understand, she's like SO hot" bob said

For some reason I didn't like the way he called her hot like that.

"Yea can we just stop talking about her" I said looking down

"I have a bet for u" bob said

"What kind of bet" I asked

"U have to get Maya to fall in love with u" he said smirking

"She hates me, so does her friends" I said

"Yea so? Make her love u, I bet u can't do that." bob said

"Ha ur so on! She's gonna fall in love with me then I'll just break her heart." I said

"That's the jerk Lucas I know! Pass me the weed." bob said

Tomorrow I start making Maya love me.
