Chapter 4

Maya's POV

"So how was it?" Riley asked

"How was what?" I asked

"U know, your date!" Riley exclaimed

"Riles it was amazing! He was so sweet and acted like a gentleman!" I squealed

I never thought I would say stuff like that, especially to Riley. I love her but she over reacts about stuff like this.

"Ahhhh! Omg! Maya that's great!" She squealed

Then we did one of those super girly celebration jumps. Farkle came over and just stood there watching us until we stopped.

"What's going on over here?" Farkle asked

"Maya's boyfriend is such a gentleman!" Riley squealed

"Yea" I said as I sighed smiling

"Look at her! She's in LOVE!" Riley yelled

Riley yelled that so loud everyone in the hallway could here her. I can feel myself blushing.

"Oops." Riley said realizing how many people heard her

"Hey beautiful." Mark said giving me a kiss on the cheek

"Awwwwww." Farkle and Riley said

We stood there talking until someone came and interrupted our conversation.

"So your the boyfriend?" Someone said

We all turned around to see Lucas standing there. Mark put his his arm around me.

"Yea I am, who are u?" Mark asked

"Really? I'm the most popular kid in school. U don't know who I am?" Lucas asked

"No uh sorry?" Mark said making it sound like a question

"He's also the school jerk." I added

"Oh really?" Lucas smirked

"Yea really." I said

"Well that's a shame because I wanted to invite u guys to a party, but I guess since I'm a jerk, you won't come." Lucas said

"Oooooh a party!" Riley squealed

"Riley, he's a jerk, remember." I reminded her

"Oh yea, we're not coming." Riley said trying to act cool

"Really? That's weird because last time I checked dorks like u always want to come to popular people parties." Lucas said

"Well u see, we're not dorks, and your not "popular". So leave us alone already." I said

"Yeah! Leave us alone!" Riley said

"U know Maya, I always thought it would be u and me." Lucas said

"Well, she's my girlfriend, so get lost." Mark said

"Ok ok tuff guy, relax. Cu later dorks, and Maya." Lucas said and winked at me

Mark looks likes he's about to kill someone, probably Lucas.

"U ok babe?" I asked him

"If he talks to u again, tell me and I'll kill him." Mark said

We all laughed although he looked kinda serious.

We're at Riley's apartment because school just finished.

"So guys, I was thinking, what if we went to Lucas's party?" Riley asked

"Why would we want to do that?" Farkle asked

"I dunno, I guess I'm just tired of not going to any popular parties." Riley sighed

"Riley, those "popular people" parties aren't what u want to go to." I said

"But-"

"Nope. We're not going." I said

"Farkle?" Riley asked

"I agree with Maya." Farkle said

"Fine, but what ru gonna do about Lucas, Maya?" Riley asked

"What do u mean?" I asked

"U know he likes u." Riley said

"Yea, and he also likes the rest of the girls at our school, what's the big deal?" I said

"Well it seemed like he really likes u, like really." Riley said

"Yea Maya, he did call us dorks but to u he said ur name." Farkle agreed

"Whatever. I have a loving boyfriend who I'm very happy with and I don't need Lucas messing it all up." I said taking a sip of my soda

"Yeah and it seems like Mark really likes u Maya!" Riley said

"Yea, he does." I sighed happily

"See! She's doing it again! Maya's in LOVE!" Riley squealed

Riley started running around the room yelling "MAYA'S IN LOVE!" and Farkle decided to join her. I was laughing so hard when Mr. Matthews came into the room.

"What? Maya's in love? No! Maya's too young for love!" He said in his baby voice

"Relax, Cory, Maya's old enough to date." Mrs. Matthews said

"But not old enough to be in love!" He yelled

We all started laughing and talking about our days over dinner. We didn't mention the "Lucas" thing because they don't really know what happened to him.

Farkle went home and I'm spending the night at Riley's house. I really don't feel like talking to Lucas at all anymore. I fell asleep dreaming about Mark and I.

Awwww. Maya and Mark. Do u guys like them? Haha Lucas doesn't know know how to get Maya. Do u think he'll win the bet?
