The following days were good times for Zooli. Her new friend Henry was very nice. She got to know him and the other engines a bit more. Still, she would have to wait time for her to consider them "true friends." Gordon liked Zooli, but he still wouldn't talk to her.
Zooli was currently sleeping in the carriage shed, Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, and Toad were keeping her company.
"Good morning, Miss Zooli." Toad smiled.
"Morning, Toad."
"You seem to be fitting in quite well." Added Henrietta.
"I am." Zooli puffed.
Then, Zooli saw Donald and Douglas puff past her; they whistled hello to her, and went about with their work. Seeing the Scottish twins made Zooli, for some reason, a little sad.
"Is everything alright, Miss Zooli?" Asked Toad.
"Yes, it's alright." Zooli huffed.
And she left to pull her first train of the day. Leaving the coaches, and brake van behind, feeling very worried.
That afternoon, Henry was puffing happily through the countryside. As he rounded the bend, he could see Zooli puff past on the other track.
"Hi, Zoo....li?"
Henry was confused. He watched as Zooli ignored her. Possibly she couldn't see him. She didn't look happy.
"That's odd, I thought Zooli always had time to say hello."
Henry had finished his jobs for the day, and decided to find Zooli. Henry found Zooli in Hiro's hideout. Zooli looked sad.
"Hello, Zooli." He puffed.
"H-Hello, Henry." Zooli sighed sadly.
"What's the matter?" Henry asked. "Something got to do with Gordon? If it is, then I'll be sure to give him a good talking to."
"No, it's not about Gordon." Zooli huffed. "It's about my oldest brother and sister."
"What happened to them?"
"They, died in a terrible accident. I didn't want to believe it but....It was true. From that day on I started living with my driver and fireman. They were very kind. But ... no one can replace my siblings. Every weekend I like to come here. Always believing that they see me and take care of me" Zooli had some tears in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry....You know? I know how you feel, Zooli. I new knew my brothers, as soon as I was built, I was auctioned off to Sodor. Maybe it won't do much but at least so you don't feel so bad....But...you still have your aunt and now you have friends." Henry smlied.
"I ... I ... have no friends. We recently moved to give my crew a better job opportunity. I did not decide to live here. It has always been difficult for me to make friends." Zooli said.
"Well ... that's not true. We don't believe that about you. I invited you to our group because I saw something good in you. And in the short time we've known each other, you seem like a nice Engine. You just need to gain confidence. We believe that you are a great engine." Henry comforted her.
"Wow...No one had ever said something like that to me. Thanks, Henry." Zooli smiled at him.
"Hehehe you're welcome" Henry said.
