Chapter 10: The Journey to the Truth (Part 4)

It was a very tense night. Henry was gone and he was losing his mind. Some time after he left the sheds, Azul had noticed his absence and he began to worry a lot.

"GUYS, GUYS!" That scream woke up all the other engines. They all started out of their sheds and gathered around the turntable.

"What's going on?" Gordon asked.

"Yeah (yawn) I was sleeping so good." Thomas said with a sleepy tone.

"It is very bad! Very horrible! Terrible!" Azul said very worried.

"What 's up?" Edward asked.

"Why so many screams?" Zooli asked trying to awake.

"Calm down, Azul! Tell me." Eagle asked trying to calm his friend.

"I....I...It's Henry! He disappeared. He left and I have no idea where he may be!" Azul said.

"Did he tell you something?" Edward asked. Azul just shook his head and replied with a no.

"We shouldn't worry too much. Maybe he just needed to do ... well ...maybe he had a last minute job to do." Percy tried to find an explanation.

"But it is very dangerous to walk alone at night. I should go find him." Gordon said.

"We will go." Azul said confidently.

"You guys stay here in case he comes back" Gordon ordered seriously.

"We can go looking for him. The more engines to look for it, the faster we will find it." Azul answered. "Besides, I'm not gonna leave my brother out there all alone." The rest stayed quiet.

"If you want....I can stay here in case he comes here" Emily offered.

"Are you sure you can stay alone here?" Thomas asked. Emily just nodded. "All right. Let's all look for it together. Use the flashlight. Be careful of anything that might happen here. And if they find it, they call me on the phone. Be very careful" Gordon said. The rest were preparing to start the search. James decided to go alone. Thomas, Percy, and Toby went together. Edward and Eagle went alone and Azul and Zooli will be another couple. But between the two of them there was an awkward silence.

So they all went looking for their lost friend. They hoped that he wasn't far away and that he was okay. Unfortunately, both statements would be false. Henry was surprised to see the individual who appeared to him in the middle of the forest that night.

"Y...Y...You again?!" Henry said scared.

"Is that a way to greet an old friend? How rude" It was Alfred himself. Which he has not lost that touch of malice and pure evil. His gaze only reflected his spirit seeking revenge and his evil.

"Alfred.....You've been torturing me since that day." Henry said very bothered. She just rolled his eyes.

"Arguably." Alfred started to move towards him.

"I do not get it. You should be locked up, insane." Henry was annoyed.

"If I was really locked up, why am I here? Hahahaha you were always naive, Henry. That is part of your charm." Alfred said with his evil tone.

"Why do you keep harassing me?" Henry asked.

"Oh Henry, I see you don't understand. I want you to suffer. You have always been the perfect engine. The most loved, the most praised, the most useful, the most intelligent. Everyone thinks you are perfect. Good things always happen to you. You were always the perfect good engine. And nothing bad happened to you. All the other engines had bad things happening ... especially Gordon. Not to mention, you too my spot as the number 3! But you ... you never suffered ... until ... oh hahahaha ... until the day I almost killed you and Gordon!" Alfred started his explanation.
