Jisoo pov

I'm really busy right now as always the company needs me there's a lot of work to do, and here comes my parents inviting me to dinner for a "VERY IMPORTANT" family meeting but there is nothing more important than my work you know I expect a higher level of this company so I have to re schedule everything up, I'm a CEO so.. (not to brag 'bout it)

"Seulgi, I'm very sorry but I expect this paperwork tomorrow morning at 8 if you can't do it let Irene help you, okay?" I said as I gave her thick paper works

"No problem." She said, Seulgi is a pretty nice person, she does everything with care she also thinks about other person before her self that's why I hire her as my secretary while Irene my friend helps too cause you know.. being a CEO at 26.. tskk pretty hard work

Now I'm off to go meet my parents at this restaurant I asked my guard to drive me there cause I'm really tired right now that all I want to do is eat chicken and go to bed afterwards.. I hope that family meeting will be as important as my business, you see I'm not really a person who cares about love I am the kind of person who pursue my career I don't care at anyone at all so I hope this is not stupid

I checked my phone to only found out that I have 23 undread messages from my dad bruh.. what?! He knows I'm busy right... He's just telling me to hurry up cause there already waiting I just sighed heavily and wish that they would surprise me of a new blanket and pillow I would really really appreciate that..

"We're here ma'am" my guard said I opened the door and went out of the car while he parked it at the parking lot, I came in with soft melodic music

"Ah.. Ms. Kim, your parents are waiting for you on the second floor" the lady said as I took the elevator pretty exhausted you ask? YES!

"Hey everyone sorry I'm late, I'm just really busy-" I didn't finish my sentence since I saw a girl across me who was on her phone and I was giving my parents a who-is-this-look

"It's okay honey.. we understand" my dad said, Understand?! How the heck will he understands if he left me with 23!! 23!! Unread messages?! Like who?!?

"Let's just order our food and go straight to the point" my mom said as she smiled and handed me the thing where you choose the food..

I just ordered my self chicken and one glass of wine I really need to rest right now... Aish..

Our food got here the girl infront of me is eating her food while I'm here texting Seulgi of how is it going since were going to sign those papers and our company won't be this busy cause we'll be hiring all new people too

"Jisoo? Don't you think you have to get out of your phone for a sec? Don't worry that much on your work" my dad said as I just turned it off and ate my chicken like a dog

"By the way.. uh.. Rosé right? Well I just want you to meet Jisoo my daughter.." my mom said smiling

"And Jisoo this is Rosé.. I hope you too will be close.." her mom said and she offered her hand for a handshake so I accepted it

"Hi nice to meet you Jisoo" she said and smiled I smiled and introduced her

"So.. since we promise each other to.." her father starts talking and I'm telling you I don't like where this is going even one bit!

"... Be friends forever we also realized that we can also be a family starting with you two.. toy know maybe you two could make us a fami-" her father said but she talked

"WHAT?! BUT DAD! WE JUST MET!! AND YOUR GOING TO FORCE US TO BE WITH EACH OTHER?!" She yelled but not that loud she also got a point tho..

"Yeah.. dad.. mom.. how could you make a promise without our decision first? I mean can't you see I'm living my life with work work, work I don't have time to love someone especially to the one I just certainly met!?" I said annoyed like who the hell would agree on this decision?

"I know.. we know.. all your life you've been with "Work, Work, Work" that's why we thought it's time for you to find your someone and by reaching our dream to, to be a family.. " my dad said I have enough! But I can't explode since all the people will just be staring at us

"But.. if I agree on this I wont be able to spent more time with her since I'm with WORK" I said and rolled my eyes

"Same here.. I have to pursue my music career and not by loving this person" she said stating a fact

But they just laugh wtf?

"We're not going to let you be married the next day were going to let you know each other first, starting by Rosé who's going to move in with Jisoo's house" my mom said

Oh.. fck this is going to be the worst days of my life
