Out of Control

The night with Draco was painstakingly long, we studied until the sun went down. Of course, some of it he spent throwing scraps of paper into a bin because he was bored.

It was strange, but he actually paid attention. He was genuinely trying to get better, even if he did have those few moments of throwing paper.

I didn't get into bed until past eleven, which wasn't unusual, but I usually spent that time alone.

When I woke up the next day, I woke to the sunrays hitting my face through the water. It was the day of the Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw Quidditch match. I couldn't wait for it, Fred and George were chasers and they were both incredible.

I took my place on the stands. The boys had given me a Gryffindor coloured hat and a jacket when we first got together. I think the jacket was Fred's and it always drowned my little body, but I loved it.

The Quidditch match had been in session for about 40 minutes before Hermione returned with our drinks. "Aw cheers, Hermione." I smiled.

"Don't mention it," She smirked, before taking her seat and handing me a cup of hot chocolate.

I saw Ron at the goalposts, obviously a little nervous. He looked down to me and stared for a while. That goofball! He looked so nervous. I waved up to him and smiled. He waved his hand and then immediately placed it back on his broom, as chaser's from the Ravenclaw team were approaching.

I looked at Hermione, smiling. She looked so confused. "Do you want me to explain Quidditch?" I asked, teasing her.

"I know how the game works, Jess." She replied, slightly annoyed at the insinuation. "It's just-"

I turned back around to the match. "Where are the twins?" She asked.

"What?" I replied, turning back to her.

"When I went to get our drinks, I heard some students talking, saying that one of the twins had vanished." She explained, she must have been looking for them as she returned.

"They're both up there." I answered. She shook her head.

"No, look. One of the twins have gone." She pointed. I looked back. As I gazed upon the Quidditch court, I realised. I had been concentrating on the nervous Ron that I hadn't noticed that one of the twins had left the pitch.

"Where the Hell's Fred?" I asked, realising that it was him who had disappeared.

I looked to Hermione, both of us had flared up with anxiety. We both looked around, searching desperately for the missing twin.

Fred's POV

Jess and Hermione stood up now, looking around frantically. Damn it! They must know I disappeared off the pitch.

Nonetheless, I was still going through with this. I still had my Quidditch uniform on, burgundy was always a good look on me.

From behind I gently shoved her and emitted a low roar, obviously scaring her. She jumped. At least I scared her. She turned immediately around, shock plastered on her face.

"Fred? What are you doing here?" Jess asked. She almost looked mad.

I furrowed my eyebrow.

"You are on the Gryffindor team, you're supposed to be on the Quidditch Court." She looked up to me as a towered them both. They were both only about 5 foot 4, it was adorable watching her break her neck to look at me.

But I wasn't here to admire her, as hard as that was. I was here for revenge, she didn't get to throw me out of her room and not expect a reckoning.
