Fred's POV

That would get her, there was no way that she could resist now. She had to talk to me, she had to come round and tell me off. Right?

I lay on my bed and waited. It wouldn't be long until she was bursting through my door and talking. Of course at that point she'd realise that I wasn't with Angelina and she'd finally realise that we were made for each other.

I changed out of my Quidditch uniform and threw on some random clothes. I decided that if Jess was going to come around I might as well put on something nice. So a button up shirt and a pair of black jeans would be fine.

My bed felt comfier somehow, as I ran my fingers through my hair. I was almost certain that she'd come running in any second. Just as that thought sprung to mind, there was a knock on my door. There she is.

I jumped off my bed and walked to the door. I opened it. "Fred?" She shouted, except this wasn't Jess' voice. I opened my eyes. It was Angelina.

"Hello, Fred!" She said again, waving her hand in my face.

"Oh, Angelina, hey." I said, somewhat disappointed. She barged her way in, without a seconds hesitation.

"Where is your head, Frederick Weasley?" She asked, well shouted.

"What?" I asked.

"Subbing yourself for your sister, that was stupid. Sure she played brilliant, but you were supposed to play." She replied.

"Look, Ange, I'm sorry. My head's just been everywhere I guess." I apologised. I placed a hand on her shoulder. "Next match, I'll be there. I promise." I added.

"You better be Fred Weasley, or else I'll give the position to your sister." She said, before walking away. "Permanently." She claimed. "And here, you left your water on the pitch." She said, before throwing it to me and slamming the door.

I caught the bottle of water before taking a small sip. I turned around wanting to sleep this day away. Before I could, the door swung open again.

"Was that Angelina?" George asked. I groaned.

"Ergh, can people piss off?" I called out.

"Fred's it's me." George added.

"I know."

"What did she want?" He asked.

"She just came to lecture me about subbing myself for Gin." I responded. He nodded. "Look, George I've had a long day. Could you leave so I can sleep?" I asked.

"Sure. Have a good sleep." He replied.

I sighed, before falling back into my bed. I lay there for a long time. It was still light outside. I looked out of my window, watching the bird outside. They perched themselves on my windowsill.

I wished to be one of those bird, any will do. My first choice of course would be a Hippogriff, they're birds right? One of the most majestic animals in the Wizarding world. I could imagine gliding over Hogwarts looking down at the tiny people below. I'd be able to go anywhere, everywhere. I'd be able to soar through the sky, no one could stop me from travelling.

No strings attached.

Even as a small bird, I'd have the most beautiful view always. I could glide over cities looking at the humans working below. Or over countryside's watching animals in the sunlight or snow.

I walked to my window drawing my curtains and blocking out as much light as I could. I walked back to my bed, getting under the covers. I wanted to sleep today away. At that point, I had forgotten that I still had my clothes on. But not too long passed, and I fell asleep.
