"Not bad after all" ( Chapter 11 )

Hey loves 😏😏‼️‼️ I'm back asf😧😧⁉️⁉️⁉️ Happy march and I'm so sorry I couldn't update sooner. I'll try and update more often, The conditions here are really bad but I'll be ok! Okay let's go darlings ‼️‼️

“i- uh I got the snacks?” Harry awkwardly said, Walking into the dorm to find Cedric lazily lying down on the newly cleaned bed, with glimmering yellow and black sheets.

“Great.” Draco replied, Not bothering to look up from his book.

— Flashback to Draco in the library —

~ Skimming his fingers over the books on the shelf, reading the titles inscribed into the spines. Some he had recognized from his own personal library, Some were heard.. Never read, and others were completely unfamiliar to him.

‘Ah, to kill a mocking bird By Harper Lee’ He thought. He had undoubtedly heard about it a million times, But never had read it for himself. He grabbed the book and flashed towards the Hufflepuff dorms, in which Cedric let him in with a unrecognizable scowl on his face. He did NOT like letting in slytherins, at all!

~ BACK TO PRESENT ~

Harry slowly walked over to both of them and sat down, the tense atmosphere in the around. “Do you guys.. Um wanna— Play the wizards chess?” Harry slowly asked, not expecting any type of response.

Silence.

“Yes! Of course. Let's do so!” Cedric practically screamed, He was a beast at chess. It was rumored that nobody could beat him.. yikes, Harry's going to have quite a hard time with that

Draco slowly looked up from his book, shutting it tightly and setting it aside, considering. ‘Eh sure why not’ Draco thought.

Draco had gotten up, looked under his bed and pulled out a simple flat box, Inscribed on the cover “Wizards Chess”

Handing it over to Harry, Harry skimmed the cover, brushing his fingers slowly over the words.
The cover was.. more mesmerizing than usual, The Golden liners around the words, shimmering at candle light, the font and elegance the book had held. Harry's mouth slowly hung agape, his eyes slightly wide, but not too much.
Cedric and Draco slowly looking over to him, trying their hardest not to sound or look creepy, blushing a soft red.

Harry looked so adorable this way.

Shaking everything off, They proceeded to crowd around and forming a small circle, Cedric pulled out the board, out of the box and setting it on the soft, rugged floor.

—Intense Chess Playing Intensifies—

Roll the dramatic music, My fellow viewers, Because this round was clearly very intense.

The silence was somehow loud, Stares passed from one to another.
Harry's hair, a possible mess. Cedric's hands, dramatically held together. Draco was focused on nothing but chess.

The round was over

Harry looked over to the clock, finding that it was now 9pm.

An imaginary lightbulb appeared, hovering over his head.
He and Ron had bought some candy at hogsmeade some time ago. Why not enjoy it now?

He slowly pulled out the bag, Cedric and Draco watching his every move, slightly confused and then getting hit with a rack of realization..

“Rebellious little—” Draco thought

Tearing the red ribbons of the bag apart, He pulled a flat little box that read
[ Those beans idk what they're called but apparently they're every flavored, Pls tell me if you know what they're called so I can update it]

A look of doom crossed Cedric's face, Draco's face became pale white.

“No! I'm not doing that, never in my life.” Draco immediately refused, looking away and crossing his arms.

Cedric was silent, Looking up at Harry's sleek grin. “Please Don't Tell me we're actually doing this. Look Harry, I enjoy your company but this is absolutely vile!” Cedric practically begged.

“Heh.. You should have thought of that before asking me to this sleepover!” Harry replied, the cocky grin not once leaving his face.

“I think I'd rather cease to exist now” Draco whispered, but it was loud enough for the two to hear him

“Calm down. It's just a little game.” Harry said, trying to calm down their nerves.

“uh.. Fine! But do keep in mind, this is a one time thing!” Draco said, His face still slightly green with disgust

“Yay!” Harry cheered like a child.

‘Ah.. Cedric come on now.. Don't give In, Even how cute he-’

“Fine I'll play too..” Cedric gave in, lifting his hands up playfully as a resurrecting gesture.

“Okay great!” Harry smiled, closing his eyes and digging in for a bean, hoping it would be normal

The atmosphere had became more intense, as he put the who knows what flavor bean in his mouth..

“Hey I think I got strawberry:D” Harry cheered, smiling childishly.

And so the round went on, Some filled with disgust, and Draco even had to run to the bathroom since it was that disgusting!

“That was.. I'm not doing it ever again!” Draco declared

“Fine.” Harry said, Looking over to cedric who still looked sick.

“Um.. Draco look- I've came to realization that you- Aren't that bad of a person.. I mean you're still a git! But i- uh not that much..” Harry admitted.

“Gee thanks, eh- I guess I could say the same for you too..” Draco replied.

And the room filled with joy.
