6 weeks since the Pendulum Wars ended and people were still going crazy. There was still parades and and parties all over the city.
I don't blame them. A 79 year war ending is nothing small but I'm a simple guy, I just got drunk and went to bed.
After the war most of us Gears just resigned and went back to the normal life.
Now I was going to have to sit in an office for the rest of my life.
I didn't know why but I kept on getting that feeling like another war was coming.
It was a terrible thought but I was really use to there always being a war, being on the frontlines. The war was all I ever knew. Don't get me wrong I preferred the peace obviously.
But I was going to have to get use to a life I've never known and will never get to know
