"you piece of shit! move out my way" I hear a very common voice ring behind me. of course the one and only blaise zabini.
he tries pushing me away so he can sign up before me. "well turns out I came to quidditch sign-ups before you" I smirk.
"hello? I'm blaise zabini soon be the seeker of the slytherin quidditch team" he says with confidence. trying to challenge me? oh just wait and see zabini I will be the best player the quidditch team will ever see.
"I already know your name zabini, we'll just have to wait and see who will be the new chaser at tryouts" I say. I can tell his pissed because I decided to choose the role that he's been bragging about having for the past 3 years when he hasn't even gotten the official role.
After I finish signing up I see him place his name under mine for the chaser position, he then looks at me straight in the eyes with a sumg smirk on his face.
"bellchant, I know you're worried about not getting the role but don't worry though it's nothing new coming from you" he says with the annoying look on his face. I try to hide the heat rushing up to my face as I cant seem notice he has changed over the winter break, he's face has gotten slimmer and he has even grown taller and even more attractive.

As I was heading to lunch I scan the slytherin table trying to find daphne. why can't she ever be early to lunch. I try to find an empty seat until daphne arrives, I can see draco malfoy seating right next to blaise after that awkward greeting I don't want to be anywhere near him. Goyle was across theo and thank god I find a seat which happens to be right next to theo.
"Well, well if it isn't Amber, fancy seeing you here" Theo says while taking a step towards me with open arms expecting a hug, he stares at me for a good minute waiting for a response. "Sooo, no hug?" I stare at him blankly trying to send him hint to show that I'm not in the mood for a silly greeting.
I seat next to Theo while I grab my plate and serve myself some food, from time to time I try my best to ignore anything theo says to me. As I keep eating I can feel a pair of eyes staring at me at the end of the slytherin table. As I was trying to look and see who it was the bell decides to ring. great what happened to the good luck my mom gave me before I left.
I make my way to potions only to find Daphne there sitting with Pansy, I was walking right behind pansy how did she get here before me?, I have had the worst day so far and I am not ready to cause an argument. I try to find a seat before professor snape arrives and assigns me a seat with some random student.
I find an empty seat which happens to be a seat next to malfoy, I haven't talked to him in over a year this will probably be awkward. I sit down straightening my skirt and acting normal as I can be. He looks at me in confusion "And what brings you here?" He questions. "Don't flatter yourself malfoy you happen to be the only person in the classroom with no one next to you" I scoff.
"After what I saw happening with you and Blaise this morning it doesn't look too good now that you're sitting in his seat" I look at him in complete shock, not believing what I have just heard, and to make it even worse i see him looking at something behind me. I turn and around slowly and be faced with zabini looking at me with a mad facial expression "It's you again? Come now you tired stealing my quidditch position and now my seat!" He exclaims causing the whole class to look at us. this is the most embarrassing thing he as ever done.
"Your seat? you weren't sitting in it earlier so you can't claim the seat to be yours!" I snap. The doors swing open and here has professer snape arrived the worst teacher of the century.
"why aren't you two seated? do I have to go over the rules I have been teaching you for the last 3 years?" He stares at me and blaise almost as if he wants rip both of our souls apart. "What are you two waiting for sit at the back of the class hurry up!" I make my way to the back and sitting in the seat that I was hoping not to receive, zabini completely ignoring me the whole lesson , we were assigned to make a potion which I did all myself since my lazy partner hasn't moved a centimeter ever since he sat next to me.

After my last lesson I head to the library to do anything but talk to anyone in the slytherin house. Hours of reading useless books I decide to sit in the couch near the restricted area, trying to slowly sneak a book. The book i mange to take happens to be a book related to the dark arts and dark magic. I place the book inside my bag trying to leave the library without making a noise.
As I walk down the hall to the slytherin common room I hear someone calling my name, before I could turn around the voice interrupts me "What would you be doing out after curfew hours bellchant?"
