When I am safely in my car I hide my face within the steering wheel. The nerves are beginning to fade and I am thankful that I will never have to face that man again. Except for the graduation ceremony but Liam will be there then. I'm sure that he and Liam will get along swimmingly they are both very prideful and confident people.

The place the keys in the ignition of the car and start on my hour long journey home. Unwelcome thoughts of Harry Styles creep into my mind and I try to shake them away.

I step foot into the apartment seeing Liam exactly where I had left him. Except now he was eating some different form of ice cream. I'm going to have to buy more if he keeps eating all of it. As soon as his eyes set on me he jumps up. "How was it! How was he!"

"Nothing to report...He was strictly professional"

"Professional? That's it? Did you ask all the questions that I had set for you?" I shake my head. I could barely get through the first few. I was lucky to even open my mouth to speak to the man that was in front of me. "I'm sure that I can work with that you have" He takes the recorder from me and hugs me. "Thanks for doing this for me Niall"

I'd do anything for Liam. Which just so happens to be my downfall. I find it quite hard to say no,  when I need to. Something else on the list that Niall must work on with himself.

My eyes roam to the clock and I sigh. "I'm going to try and get some sleep before I go into work" Liam doesn't bother to give me a response. He's already lost in the world of Mr. Styles. And somehow I feel that I may be to.

I've never come across a man who has held himself in such high regards. But then again I didn't associate myself with many men at all. You're 21 Niall you need to start dating.  I can hear my mother's voice ringing in my head but I ignore it. I don't want to date. I just want to graduate out of college and begin my life.

I step foot into my room shutting my door behind me. My back pressed against it as my eyes close. You need your sleep Niall. I convince myself that once I sleep this foreign feeling with disappear.

Sleep helped absolutely nothing. My stomach was still in knots of nerves when I had awoken. What in the hell was going on with me. Surely one man couldn't make me feel this way. Could he?

Not bothering to answer the question I stood up from my bed sliding my converse on. To lazy to change into something new, I grabbed my bag throwing it over my shoulder. I stepped foot out of my room shutting the door behind me. I walked slowly into the living room seeing that Liam had moved from his spot on the couch. What a surprise that was. I was expecting him to remain on that couch until he had actually become apart of it.

I walked to the door writing a note on the white board that was kept near the coats that I was leaving for work and would be back as soon as I could. I grabbed my coat placing it over my shoulders and walked out the door to my car.

Work was awaiting.

~*~

I stood behind the counter counting the money in the register. Like I had done 10 minutes ago. This was a usual occurrence when work was slow. I would find myself doing the same things over and over again. Counting shelves, counting customers, counting how many time the clock would tick. Anything to keep me from letting my mind run off to that place...That place I knew that I would never get it back from.

The bell of the door made me jump and I noticed a tall figure walking in. Resisting the urge to crawl under the counter I stood there in utter shock. He looked around the shop for a few seconds before his eyes landed on me. What the hell was he doing in a place like this? A hardware shop...Didn't he have people to come to places like this for him. I halted my thoughts as soon as he was standing in front of me.

"Mr. Horan...a pleasure" He nodded, his hair moving slightly as he did. I just want to run my fingers through it...No you don't Niall. Stop that.

"You as well Mr. Styles" I keep my millions of questions in my head knowing better than to voice them out loud. Maybe it isn't to late and go hide somewhere.

"I was wondering if you could help me with a few things actually"

"Yes of course... It's my job" I push my hair to the side and he smiles a devilish smile. Stop smiling at me... Please...

"I need tape, zip ties, and rope" Each item fall from his lips and I nod. I step from behind the counter leading him down one of the aisles. Keep your cool Niall. I look up seeing the tape placed in front of me. I grabbed the tape and held it up for him. He looked over it and shook his head. "That just won't do, I think I need something thicker" I nod and place the tape back reaching for the ducktape which was much higher than I thought. I stepped onto my tippy toes and sadly still couldn't reach it. He stood next to me reaching up as well gabbing the tape.

"Thanks..." I mutter and he smiles. He places the tape in my hands his fingers brushing against my palm and I let out a small weary breath. What else did he want? Zip ties.. "Follow me please..." I lead him further down the aisle and turn to the left. I grabbed the silver zip ties and looked over them making sure that all of them were equip to be used. Okay, rope and then he can get the hell out of here. His presence made me unbearably uncomfortable. I didn't fully understand why but I knew that I wanted the feeling to be displaced.

I grabbed the rope once we had gone to the proper aisle and held onto them for a moment before handing them to him. "Rope...Zip ties...and duct tape..You're the complete serial killer" Was that my attempt at a joke?

The chuckle that leaves his mouth makes my heart flutter. "Not today.." What? Don't question it Niall. Just smile and walk back to the counter. That's exactly what I do. We both walk to the front but I am stopped by the sound of a voice. One that I haven't heard in a while.

"Niall Horan!" I turn around seeing Zayn standing there with his goofy grin plastered on his face. I smiled excusing myself from Harry and made my way towards him. He quickly embraced me in a hug which I gladly returned. Zayn was a very close friend of both Liam and I. He was a year younger than us but we still managed to hang out with each other. Zayn had been traveling with his friends for a bit for the photographic opportunities as he would call it. He must have gotten back early. "I knew I would find you here"

"Well you were right" I smiled up at him noticing that his gaze was no longer on me. It was slightly over me now. I turned over my shoulder seeing that he was in fact staring at Harry, who's jaw was now tense and his eyes cold.

"Did you get a boyfriend while I was gone" Zayn joked nearly knocking the breath out of my lungs. God no.

"No not at all. He's a customer. A customer that I need to get back to actually. So come over later on and we can all talk about your trip yeah?" He nods placing a swift kiss to my forehead before walking off. I make my way back to Harry and he looks down at me.

"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend Mr. Horan" I don't! And even if I did why on earth would I tel him that. An even better question is why would he care if I had a boyfriend or not.

"Because I don't." I keep my answer simple and lead him to the cash register. I quickly ring up his three items placing them in a bag. "Here you go" He reaches for his back and I place it in his hands. He hands me a card which I swipe before handing it back to him. He reaches into his pocket yet again pulling out a much smaller card.

"Take this please" He places the card in my hands as if he's scared that I will break it. I look down at it reading the cursive writing on it.
