Chapter 4: Fallen Emperor!

Law felt the increase of magical energy in the area and even though her body was telling her to get away from it, she used it as a beacon to pinpoint the magical energy she recognized as Makarov's. Law grit her teeth as she leaned on a tree and a blue aura surrounded her once more.

'Why am I even trying so hard for that old man? Family? Don't make me laugh. Everyone in this world is the same, they only exist to try to cheat life and make decisions that only benefit them. Everyone is so selfish...including me.' Law thought as she smirked darkly "Shadow the Hedgehog."

Kai roared as he raised his sword and brought it down on Makarov who expertly dodged and thrust his arm forward creating a sphere of light that let out multiple thin beams of light towards Kai. He blocked every single one of them and his blade ignited in flames as he slashed at Makarov.

A flaming slash flew towards Makarov who dodged and placed his palm on the ground, the ground around him exploded and the tiles were sent flying in the air. Makarov thrust his palms forward and the tiles flew towards Kai who swung his blade in an arch and burnt them to ashes.

"Enough with your parlor tricks Makarov, fight me for real!" Kai shouted.

"Your pursuit of power has misguided you Kai." Makarov stated.

"It has not misguided me Makarov! It has only strengthened my resolve!" Kai shouted.

"Your resolve?" Makarov asked.

"My resolve to destroy." Kai replied with a smirk as his blade was set ablaze once more "Dragon brave Dragoblade: Fiery Paradise!"

Kai thrust the sword into the ground and fiery pillars started to erupt around Makarov who tried his best to dodge but his cape unfortunately lit on fir so he had to discard it. Makarov enlarged his arm and summoned three swirling light spheres within the enlarged palm.

"Light Magic: Sun Dancer!" Makarov shouted as he threw the spheres who cut one of the spheres but widened his eyes as it exploded along with the other two.

"Had enough?" Makarov asked.

"Dragon Brave Dragoblade: Flame Dragon Torrent!" Kai shouted from within the dust cloud surrounding.

"What?" Makarov asked with widened eyes.

A large flaming dragon roared as it flew towards Makarov who enlarged both his arms and thrust them forward, creating a light screen as a shield. The shield worked in blocking the hit but it pushed him back hard and he ended up hitting the wall behind him.

"Come now Makarov, is that really all you have?" Kai mocked as Makarov staggered to his feet and slapped his palms together.

"Not in the slightest!" Makarov replied as he separated his palms a light sphere enveloped in yellow flames formed in his hands, he thrust his hand forwards and a yellow magic circle appeared "Luminous Light Art: Sunlight Laser!"

A large beam of light was launched towards Kai who ignited his sword with a larger flame as he shouted "Dragon Brave Dragoblade: Drogon's Breath!"

A powerful plume of flames was launched out of Kai's blade as he thrust it forward and the two powers clashed in a brilliant yellow and red light. They held out in a power struggle that shook the whole hall, Makarov and Kai roared as they added in more magical energy with Makarov winning the struggle as the beam of light burst through Kai's plume of flames and hit Kai directly.

Kai cried out in pain as the wall behind him exploded and the ground beneath his feet became a crater. Kai growled as he glared at Makarov while holding onto his burnt chest in pain.
