"Is she breathing?"

"Is she alive?"

"Where did you find her?"

"Out of the way!"

She heard many voices. Only she didn't know who had said them. Or who she was herself. I was odd. She couldn't see, feel, or say anything. She could just...hear. Everything. Voices, sirens, even a dog barking. She could breath, but the air was...delicate. Not like the crazy outdoor wind on a winter morning, but like it was controlled and it smelled minty. She wondered where she was, if she was dead, or what she was even breathing. Was she breathing, or ill? Both or neither?

"Hmm..." Said the biggest voice, the one that had said "Out of the way!" Suddenly, she could see again. It was a big man, with an almost bald head with dark brown eyes and a giant scar across his face. He was about fifty or so, and was leering over her with a disappointed look on his face.

"This is Jett! We did an experiment on her not long ago! We were restoring her DNA, but she disappeared out of her capsule last Tuesday. I hope she makes it...almost a month of work." The man said. Jett opened her eyes a bit wider, signifying that she was alive and awake. She let out a small grunt, too.

"Jett! Do you remember me? Dr. Fasless?" He asked quickly. Dr...Fasless... Her mind quickly spun out. Her vision blurred for a second, and the voices of the men started overlapping into indistinct echos. She felt like throwing up. She gently raised her hands, but they were so...heavy. When she tilted her head enough to see them, they were covered with blood. She sort of got her strength back, and looked around the room. She was in a white tent, with about five men it it, including Dr. Fasless. They were all wearing the same uniform. She was wearing a T-shirt with a plus sign on it and black shorts. All of her clothes, and the mens' gloves, were splattered with blood. She then noticed the sources of the blood, which were a nose scar in her face, a huge cut on her hand, another giant cut at her side, and several minor scratches elsewhere.

"Its ok, Jett." Said a women. "We'll give you a medication that will help you sleep."

She gulped down the liquid, and started to feel dizzy, then fell asleep.
