Sokay ran back to the castle only to be confronted by the Sokay's army "we heard shou-" "yes my fathers dead".

Sokay cut him off. "The War Master attacked us early. Look beyond me and you will see the dying and the dead."

"Sokay you know what this means...your father is dead and it means you are king."

"I realise."

"So..." the leader of the army paused, waiting for instructions.

"Well first clean up the battle scene and bury my father," Sokay said, choking back a sob.

"Yes lord." They replied.

So the army set off to bury the bodies and to clean the fresh red blood off the courtyard walls and floor. It was a mammoth task.

The next morning Sokay imagined his father waking up Sokay as he did when Sokay lived in the castle. Then it struck Sokay, his father  was dead.

Killed by the war master's servants.

Sokay went to the chef and asked for some bacon and eggs, but the chef asked a question that made rage boil inside of him "where is your mother" Sokay tried to calm himself.

Then answered through gritted teeth "she died from phuemonia" "oh, sorry for asking" "its fine" lied Sokay.

Soon the dining hall was full of the army but all was silent. Some soldiers tried to start a conversation but failed.

"Lord may me and my army start practising weaponry?"

Sokay was to tired to argue so he just said "yes John"

"thankyou sire" the army chorused.

Sokay had a fitfull sleep that night.
