Hide and Seek

It was Halloween night and 6 teenage friends were out trick or treating together. Man, we hit the motherload didn't we? Tommy, who was dressed as Prometheus said as he draped his pillowcase over his shoulder. Yeah, I think we can hit one more house then call it a night. Barry, who was dressed as the flash had said.

So which one should we hit? Oliver, who was dressed as Green Arrow asked. What about that one? Tommy pointed to a normal looking, yet raggedy house. It looks abandoned and creepy. Sara, who was dressed as White Canary said.  Then maybe we should look for another one. Diggle, who was dressed as Spartan suggested.

Look guys, I have an idea. Tommy said with a smile. How about we all play a game of hide and seek? In there. He pointed to the raggedy house. I thought we were trick or treating? Iris, who was dressed as Wonder Woman asked. Come on guys, it will be fun. Tommy erged them. Nuh uh. Not in there it won't. Sara said. Yeah you  guys go ahead, I think Sara and I will stay here. Iris said.

Don't tell me you girls are scared. Tommy crossed his arms. Chickens. He muttered under his breath. What the hell did you just call us? Sara growled. You heard me. Tommy smirked. Fine, lets go. Sara rolled her eyes. Tommy turned his attention to the guys. Don't tell me you guys are chickens too. He said. Who you calling a chicken? Oliver said as he and the others started walking towards the house.

They shined their flashlights at the house. It looked like an ordinary house except with broken and missing windows and it had a creepy feel to it. They entered the house and noticed there was'nt a lot of furniture. Okay, lets hurry up and play so that we can get out of here. Sara said.

Alright, I'll count and you guys hide. Tommy said as they left their bags of candy on the ground. They ran in different directions as Tommy began counting. Ready or not, here I come. He called out when he had counted up to 30.

He saw a shadowy figure disapear behind a wall. Oliver, I saw you. He said, following the figure. But as soon as he went behind the wall to the next room, the figure disappeared. Oliver, I saw you. Come on man. He said looking around for him. But he was no where to be seen. As soon as he returned to his counting spot, the others had blocked themselves.

Oliver, I found you already. How come you never responded? Tommy asked. What are you talking about man? Oliver was confused. But I just saw you go in there, behind that wall. Tommy pointed to the direction where he saw the shadowy figure. What are you talking about? I was upstairs with Barry and Dig. Maybe it was one of the girls. Oliver said as they looked at each other. The girls shook their heads in confusion.

Ok, something weird is going on here. Tommy said. Suddenly they heard laughing sounds. What the hell was that? Sara asked. I don't know. Iets just carry on with the game so that we can get the hell outta here. I guess I'm counting next. Oliver said as he stood against the wall and started counting.

Barry had gone upstairs to one of the bedrooms and got in the closet. It was pitch black, so lucklily he had his flashlight with him. He heard breathing sounds coming from behind him. Tommy? I didn't know you were hiding in here too. He said but there was no answer. He shined his flashlight to see a little boy sitting next to him. You're not Tommy, Barry said nervously.

He let out a scream as he burst out the closet running. He made it downstairs to where Oliver was still counting. The others emerged from their hiding spots to see what the comotion was about. Whats going on? Iris asked. This place is haunted. I just saw a ghost. Barry breathed. I told you something weird is going on. Tommy said.

Suddenly, they heard footsteps and more voices telling them to get out. And out of nowwhere a vase flew past them. I think thats our cue to leave. Tommy said as they grabbed their candy and got out as quickly as they could.

From that day forward, they promised never to go inside another haunted house again. They would never forget that experience they had
