The Swamp monster

Sightnings have been seen of a large swamp monster in a well known camp site near the swamp in Central city. People have mysteriously gone missing when visiting that camp site.

Barry and his team at Star labs were very intrigued by this. They wanted to investigate and find out more about this swamp monster. Could we be dealing with another meta? Like some sort of swamp meta? Barry asked as they looked at a picture of the swamp creature on the computer monitor.

Nuh uh, definitely not a meta. Cisco said. So then its a real monster? Iris asked. Yep. Juding by the markings on its face and its green mothy skin, I'll say we have ourselves a real life swamp monster. Cisco said as he observed the picture more closely. Ok, but we have to do something about it, we can't let it terrorize people anymore. Barry said. What do you suggest we do? Caitlin asked.

We have to go to where its been spotted and try and stop it, I guess. Barry said. You want us to go and find this thing? Allegra asked. Yes, but I have a plan. Barry replied. Well lets hear it. Allegra said. Me, Cisco, Iris and Caitlin will go and stake out the site until we see the monster and we'll try and set a trap for it. And Chester, Allegra and Kamilla, you three will stay in the van until we call for backup. Barry told them the plan.

That night they got themselves ready before driving to the campsite while Barry used his speed and met them there. Ok, this is where people have mysteriously gone missing. Barry said when they all arrived at the site. Lets hope we don't go missing. Cisco gulped.

Barry, Cisco, Iris and Caitlin had set up a fire while Chester, Allegra and Kamilla waited in the van. They were watching and listening what was going on from the monitors in the van.

Time started to go pass and it seemed like nothing was happening, until... What was that? Cisco asked as they heard a thumping sound. Maybe its the monster? Caitlin said as they got up from where they were sitting. Its here. Cisco, did you set the traps? Barry asked. Yes I did. And I'm pretty sure this monster won't be able to wistand them. He replied.

The monster appeared and gave a loud roar. It moved forward towards team flash, but had walked right ino Cisco's trap. Unfortunetely, the traps did'nt work and the monster was able to walk right through them and dodge it. Cisco! I though you said the monster would be able to wistand the traps? Iris said. slight miscalulation. Or so I thought. Cisco said.

I guess we get him the old fashioned way then. Barry said as he put on his mask before running up to the monster and trying to sucker punch it. He missed as the monster ended up picking him up and throwing him. Guys, I think its a good time to call for back up now. Iris said. Yeah, call for back up. Barry was still lying on the ground.

Iris called Allegra through the coms as the monster reached for Cisco and grabbed him. Hurry! Iris yelled as the monster lifted Cisco up towards him. Hey! Drop that guy now! Allegra yelled when she arrived. She blasted the monster with one of her UV rays. The monster roared before ripping off Cisco's head with its mouth then tossing his body over its shoulder.

Cisco! Everyone yelled when they saw what happened. Run! Allegra yelled as she, Iris, Barry and Caitlin made a run for it. What if  I try to freeze it? Caitlin suggested while turning into killer frost. No, its too dangerous! Barry warned. I have to try. Caitlin said as she stood infront of the monster and tried freezing it. Its working. Caitlin felt relieved when she saw the monster freezing while covered in ice.

Suddenly, the ice began to break and the monster was able to thaw out. It let out another roar as it scratched Caitlin accross the face before taking her and turning around. Caitlin! everyone else yelled.

No one knew what to do at this point. They were all devastated and scared. Maybe she's still alive. The monster probably took her to his swamp den. And I'm sure if we rescue her... Allegra wept. Allegra theres nothing we can do, I'm sorry. Barry said.

Chester! What are you doing?! Kamilla asked as she followed him to the swamp area. This is where that monster dragged Caitlin to. I just want to make sure... He said quietly as he checked the water. Oh crap! He jumped when he got a fright and saw what was submerged in the water. Lifeless bodies, including Caitlin Snow, layed beneath. We gotta go. Like right now. Chester said trying to leave. I told you this was a bad idea. Kamila said.

They were stopped by a strong stentch. Chester, behind you! Kamila yelled as the monster stood over him. The two of them took off running, but while running, Chester tripped and fell and soon the monster caught up to him. It whipped out its long vines from its back and tied the ends to Chester's leg as it pulled him away.

Shortly after, Kamilla was out of breath and had stopped running to catch her breath. She felt something grasped her foot, as she looked down to see a vine wrapped around it and pull her down to the ground. The vines made their way up to her waist and wrapped around her.

Guys? Hello? Chester? Kamilla? Barry tried talking to them through the coms but there was no answer. What happened to Chester and Kamilla? Why are they not answering? Allegra panicked. You don't think.... They looked at each other.

Wait, Barry? What if you threw lightning at it? Iris suggested. I'll try. He said just as the monster approached them. He ran in a circle and generated lightning, then threw it right at the monster. But nothing happened. Iris and Allegra could feel something wrap around their waists. The monster used its vines to wrap around Iris and Allegra then held them and picked them up. Barry! Iris yelled. Help Barry! Allegra started yelling and crying as the monster took them away.

Barry was now alone. He lost all his team members. When the monster returned, he tried sucker punching it a couple of times and when that did'nt work, he tried throwing lightning again. He even tried pulling a reverse flash. But that did'nt work either. He felt defeated. He was just about to run back to star labs when he felt something wrapp around his chest. After wrapping its vines around Barry, the monster took him back to where he kept his other victims.
