Shark

Oliver Queen was getting his dad's boat, The Queen's Gambit ready for his trip with his friends. His dad told him he could borrow it for the weekend and Oliver could'nt be more happier.

The boat was ready to set sail as his friends arrived a short while later. Barry and Iris arrived hand in hand as they greeted and hugged Oliver. Yo! Hows it going? Mon el bro hugged Barry and Oliver, while Kara and Iris hugged. Are we all ready or what? Mon el said enthusuastically. We're just waiting on Felicity then we can head out. Oliver said.

Felicity arrived a few minutes later. Sorry I'm late, I had to do something really quick. She gave her boyfriend a peck on the lips before greeting and hugging the others. Allright, are we all ready? Oliver asked. Yeah, lets do this. Mon el replied as they all got on the boat.

Oliver pulled out of the dock as they set sail for sea. Music blasted through the boat as everyone sipped on beers and mingled. Everyone had on their swim suits as the party started. So, where are you taking us? Felicity was standing behind Oliver. She placed her chin on Oliver's shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. Well, we'll go were the sea takes us. Oliver smiled as he put one arm around her, bringing her close to him, before planting a kiss on her lips.

The girls were sitting inside in the mini living room area. Oh, it doesn't get any better than this ladies. Felicity said as they sipped on some whine. It just feels so good to be out on the ocean. Kara said. Especially getting to do it with my 2 best friends, and our boyfriends of course. Iris laughed as the girls joined her. Yeah, this is really nice. Kara smiled.

They drank their whine before being called by one of the boys.  We're about to park the boat and go for a swim. You girls wanna join us? Mon el had come down to call them. Yeah, of course. Definitely. The girls answered before meeting the boys on the upper deck.

Whoo! Mon el yelled as he jumped into the water making a big splash. Oliver and Barry followed soon after, and the girls were the last to jump in. The sun hit them hard as the water felt cool and refreshing. The boys lifted the girls onto their shoulders for a while before playfully pushing them off.

They jumped off the boat a couple of more times, this time Barry and Iris held hands as they did it together. The friends enjoyed themselves as they swam and splashed around. Apparently, the day had to come to an end. The friends were all gathered in the kitchen, sitting at a booth eating dinner and talking. Later that night, they all went to bed, but of course, nobody was sleeping just yet.

The next day was Saturday and a few minutes after breakfast, everyone was back in their swim suits. Once again they were back to splashing around in the water. But what they did'nt know, was that a shark had been stalking them.

They were chilling in the water and talking. Guys, something does'nt feel right. Felicity had an odd sensation that they were being watched. Why, what's wrong? Iris asked. I-I don't know. I just have this feeling that we're not alone. Felicity replied. Are you being paranoid? Mon el asked. Hey, don't worry. There's nothing here but water and a couple of fish. Oliver tried to console her.

And a shark! Felicity said nervously. No, there are no sharks. Oliver said. No, shark! Over there! Felicity said looking at a fin in the distance. Shit! lets go! Oliver yelled as they all swam back to the boat, but the shark was right on their tail. They all made it on the boat safely, but as Mon el climbed up the ladder to get to the boat, he felt something grab him from behind. Oliver and Barry tried pulling him up as the shark grabbed his legs.

Blood could be seen splattered in the water as they pulled him up but only to be horrified and see that it was half his body. Mon el! Kara cried out as she fell to her knees. Iris burried her face into Barry's chest as Felicity covered her mouth with her hands. Thats it, we're leaving. Oliver said as he tried starting the boat, but it would'nt budge.

Shit! The boat's not starting. Oliver said. What, why? Barry asked. We're out of gas. Oliver replied looking at the gas tank. Shit. Barry said. Guys, what are we gonna do? Iris asked. We have to swim. We have to swim until we find some help or an island or something. Oliver suggested. I think someone should stay here, in case help arrives or someone in a helicopter or boat shows up. Barry suggested. Yeah, good idea. Oliver said.

Alright then. I think me and the girls will stay. Barry said. No, I'm going with Oliver. Felicity said. Felicity, you can't. Oliver said. I'm not leaving you, Oliver. I'm not. Felicity wept. Ok. He kissed her on the forehead. After saying goodbye, Oliver and Felicity got in the water and swam off as Barry and the girls watched.

An hour past or so, and they swam for what felt like forever. I'm getting tired, maybe we should go back. Besides, I don't see anyone or anything. Felicity said. Yeah, I guess you're right. Oliver said before spotting something in the distance. Wait a minute, there's a huge ledge over there around those rocks. Maybe if we climb that ledge, we'll be able to see whats behind it. He said.

They swam towards the ledge but were followed by the shark. A few minutes later, they had finally made it. They had climbed it and to their surprise in the far distance, they could see a small island. Maybe if we swim there, we can get help. Oliver said. They got back in the water and made their way to the small island. 

See, I told you we'd find help. Oliver said. But there was no answer. He stopped swimming and looked around for Felicity. Felicity!? He called out. Suddenly, Felicity had popped up from beneath the water. Oliver, help! She yelled before being pulled back in. Oliver was terriffied as he saw the blood and knew that the shark was near.

Meanwhile back at the boat, Barry and the girls were still waiting. They're not back yet. Something must be wrong. I'm going to look for them. Barry said. Then I'm coming too. Kara said. Yeah, me too. Iris said. They jumped into the water to look for Oliver and Felicity.

Oliver was trying to swim as fast as he could but he was getting tired. He paused to catch his breath but then felt something grab his leg. He let out a scream as he tried kicking it off. Blood began to fill the water as Oliver struggled.

Barry and the girls were now close to where Oliver and Felicity were last seen. Oh my God. Iris said as Felicity's body could be seen floating over some blood. Felicity. Kara sighed. They continued swimming until they had an unpleasant feeling. They had noticed that the shark was circling them. The shark. Guys, what are we gonna do? Kara asked as they started panicking.

Suddenly, the shark attacked again. It went straight for Kara as it lunged at her. Iris began to cry as Barry pulled her towards him. We have to go. There's nothing we can do. Barry said as the two of them swam away while the shark was distracted.

They were swimming for hours now and were getting tired. Come on, there's an island over there. Barry panted. But it looks so far. Iris panted. We have to. Its the only way we can survive. Barry said. Iris nodded then they continued swimming past more blood.

After another hour of swimming, they were close to the island. We're almost there, Iris. We did it. Barry said, but when he did'nt get an answer he was worried. Iris? He looked around for her before diving into the water to look for her. Iris had given out from exhaustion and was sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Barry saw her body and quickly recovered her. Iris, hey. Come back to me. He held her in his arms but it was no use, she was gone. He had no choice but to let her go.

He continued swimming but a short time after, the shark returned as it circled him. But Barry was not going to give up, the island was just ahead. He was exhaused and felt like giving out. Just then, he felt something bite his leg and at this point he knew he was a gonner. He managed to kick the shark and continue swimming. But that did'nt last. Eventually the shark got to him. All 6 friends were gone.
