I hesitantly follow Samus.
" What are you so afraid about? We're just going to play an innocent game-" I cut her off.
" WHERE A BOW AND ARROW ARE INVOLVED AND I STAND IN FRONT OF THE TARGET WHILE YOU SHOOT ARROWS AROUND ME!!!!"
" Oh. When you put it that way.." She says.
I frown at her.
" But you forgot the important part."
" Oh?" I look at her, confused.
" You must not flinch, even slightly, after I shoot ten arrows."
I gulp.
I stand in front of the target. I take a few deep breaths and fearfully look at her.
" Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch.Don't flinch." I think to myself.
She gets ready to fire.
She shoots the first arrow and it hits the target, right next to my ear.
I tremble after it hit the target.
" Stop trembling cuz here comes the next shot." She readies her bow.
I force myself to stop trembling as she fires the next shot.
One near my other ear.
The next close to my middle finger.
The next close to my knee.
The next was able to leave a scratch on my cheek.
" Yes oh I mean, sorry." She says.
" Yeah right." I roll my eyes and an arrow nearly hits my eye. I widen my eyes.
" Watch your mouth, peasant." She spits.
The rest either almost hit me in the neck or other vital areas.
I let out a sigh of relief.
" Seems like out of all the other tasks I've had to do, yours has been the easiest." I say.
" Seems so. This was actually pretty hard for me." Samus lowers the bow.
" I can guess why." I say.
