Meet the Clan

I remain asleep in my bed.
Zero wakes up from the couch and walks over to me.
" hey Kyoto." He shakes my shoulder.
I blink sleepily and look up at him. My eyes shot open, I scream and fall out of the bed.
"Kyoto?" He asks, concerned and walks up to me.
I grab the nearest pointy object, grip it tightly in my hands and point it at Zero.
"Kyoto?" He asks, concerned.
" STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" I blurt out, my hands shaking, sweat forming on my forehead and my eyes wide in fear.
He reaches out his hand to me, I swat it with the object that I grabbed. He glanced away, looking hurt and then walks out of the room. I drop the object I grabbed, bring my knees to my chest, hug them tightly and cry rather loudly onto my knees.

I sniff and wipe my tears away after a while and decide to walk downstairs.

" Morning Kyoto." Achned smirks.
"hey Achned..." I respond.
" we've got wyvern meat and meridian dragon fruit." Celiest tells me from the kitchen.
" thank you." I walks into the kitchen, grab a slice of the meat and have some of their fruit. The fruit was hot pink, had this thick brown layer around it and tasted like a mix of a grapefruit and an orange. It was pretty good.
" kyoto." Ryland walks up to me.
" yes?" I ask.
" would you be interested in becoming my apprentice?" She asks.
"Wait what?" I ask.
" I think you'd like it. I'm part of this group called The Clan Of Raine who work under the guardians of Isingar." She explains.
" wait hold up!.....guardians?" I asks.
" they keep the world in balance and keeps it so we wouldn't be in constant chaos. It would be a lot easier if you met them." She explains.
" what does an apprentice do exactly?" I ask.
" You can think of it like a student and a teacher in combat. The teacher's goal is to train that student so they can surpass them one day." She responds.
" oh I see. But, why would you ask me to be your apprentice? I feel like that job is a huge responsibility." I ask again.
" Samus and Zero refuse to. Aster also refuses to but, mostly because his older brother is part of the clan."
Aster has a brother? And an older one?
" Achned doesn't qualify to be one and Celiest and Mercuris were my teachers so it would be weird for them to surpass their student." She finishes.
" yeah then it would be pointless to teach someone if they would still be under you." I say.
" not that I'm superior to them now. Both can still kick my ass if I'm not careful." She adds.
" I'd like to check out this clan before I make my decision...." I say to her.
" that's alright with me." She says.
" Shall we go now?" I ask.
" sure. Give me your hand." She holds out her hand. I grab her hand and fire swarms around us and we disappear from the kitchen.

" you noticed it?" Achned asks Zero. He nods.
" he's avoding me on purpose." Zero swallows.
" but I can't blame him though." Zero looks at the ground.
" choose your actions carefully, that's all I have to stay." Celiest says.

Ryland and I appear in the gigantic hall with white marble floors, and a red carpet in the middle.
"Am I a celebrity?" I ask, my eyes wide as I look around the beautiful hallway.
Ryland chuckles.
" you can say that." She says.
" you can feel the intense atmosphere! People of great power are the ones who can enter here and them alone!" I blurt out nonsense and Ryland laughs.
" wait till you meet the people." She mutters.
"Wait what?" I ask.
"Nothing." She smiles.
Uh oh.
" Ryland!" I hear a female voice call her.
I see a girl with pale skin, red eyes with split pupils, blonde hair up in a really high and unique ponytail, wearing a crimson red headband, a v neck crimson red top that showed her stomach, a long skirt, the same color as her top, that was slit on both sides but, I could see that she was wearing black shorts underneath, and red combat boots.
" Leo!" Ryland throws her arms up in the air.
She glares at me.
"This is your apprentice?" She growls.
" not yet decided." She corrected. " he said he wanted to look around and get to know she of the people before making his decision."
" I don't like him. I could smell weakling the second he arrived!" She growls again.
What are you, the female version of Aster?
" now now, Leo." Ryland walks front in front of her, their noses touching and her body up against hers.
" isn't that a little to clo-" I get cut off by Ryland squeezing Leo's butt and she shrieks. She claws Ryland off of her and hisses loudly at her.
Ryland giggles.
" and Ryland oh grabbing hands strikes again!" A male voice enters the room.
I turn to my left and see a really tan boy with red eyes like Leo, black hair with a red highlight on the side of the hair that's covering up his left eye, wearing a black fingerless glove on his left hand and a gold bracelet on his right, a black vest lined with red on wearing it opens up and on the bottom, a pair of dark grey pants and brown shoes.
" and Leo, even though he's a guest, you should introduce yourself." The boy says to her.
She groans.
" Leo Soulcatcher. First class fire demon. And the little sister to Terra Soulcatcher." She introduces herself.
" Fang Nightfox. First class dark fire Fox enchanter. But please, call me Nightfox." He introduces himself as well.
"Dark fire?" I ask.
" Notice how my eyes are a darker shade than Leo's. Your element is also dark fire." Nightfox points to his eye.
" Zero is as well." Ryland whispers in my ear.
" shall we take you to the rest of the group?" Nightfox asks.
" I'd love to!" I say, with a twinkle in my eye.
" ughh." Leo groans in disgust.
We walk down a long narrow hallway to a large marble door.
" take a seat." Ryland walks to the large round table in the room. With two people sitting at it that I haven't been introduced to yet.
