The EAVC Expo is held once every two years. All of South Korea's aspiring investment analysts, associates, directors and some of the biggest names in finance send representatives to network and participate in the events. It is basically a chance for big companies to flex their knowledge and scout any young and promising figures. In the same way that football fans get excited for the Super Bowl, people in commerce eagerly anticipated the EAVC Expo.
You had been in attendance at the summit for your second time that year. You attended to see if there were any companies that you would be interested in investing in but mainly because you found some enjoyment in the events and the reactions of people when they made the wrong/ losing bids.
Here is your outfit of the day 👇👇
Yay or nay?You strolled into the conference hall and headed to the front desk which was set up near the door by the east wall. Laid in rows on the large walnut table were a bunch of cards attached to lanyards with the names of companies and universities. A number of them were names that you were familiar with. Your eyes eventually landed on yours. On it was the name 'G'.
You pinned the tag on your top and began to wander around the buzzing room getting a scope of this year's attendees. Typically at the IVC Expo, everyone came off as very confident. This is because in a den of Lions, being a sheep would simply be eaten up. Everyone was playing a game of confidence and the prize was a status that could only be achieved by flexing your resources, skill, or achievements. So it came as no surprise to hear the chatter that was ensuing as you walked around the room.
"My company's stock market returns rose to 15% over the last financial year with a venture that I lead." A boastful voice declared to a group of listeners.
"I've never lost a bidding, I'm assured to win this one too." A younger lady who you recognised as the Chief Financial Officer of a newer, but promising company. You made a mental note to keep an eye out for her.
At the corner of your eye, you noticed a man in a navy blue suit eyeing you from the other end of the room. Once your gazes met, he smiled and then started to slowly approach you. Catching a passing waiter, you picked up a Jack Rosé Cocktail and took a slow sip of the fusion. It was not too cold that you couldn't taste anything but certainly chilled. By then, the dark-haired man had arrived before you.
