Subhadra ~ The Altruistic One

[Chapter 8]

                   'FIRST NIGHT '

At Indraprastha....
           

Kingdom designed by Vishwakarma himself and blessed by the god of rain was named as ' Indraprastha' . The prosperity of kingdom was visible by all means .

The palace of illusion welcomed the goddess of illusion with all it hearts.

Arjun was walking in the hallway in the direction of his room while walking his mind was thinking about Subhadra . According to him she was sweet , beautiful and have a generous heart no doubt in that , but somewhat he felt She was more than that . Her eyes consist of a childless and mischievous glint and a ocean of an matureness which needed to be explored .

Arjun just couldn't calculate what he feel for her ?

Suddenly, his eyes caught a person which he needed to talk.

" Draupadi ..." he called out person name . His first wife who was divided among his brother and him . He loved and respected her from bottom of his heart but dividing her was the thing that wasn't settled down in his mind.

Draupadi turned around and looked at him . Somewhat hurt was visible in her eyes .

" I am sorry Panchali , I don't want to hurt you " Arjun said to her .

Draupadi sighed .

" It's not your fault and not of Subhadra . It's just destiny . But I think we must give time to eachother . " She said truthfully .

" U are right Panchali . " Arjun replied agreeing with her.

" I must leave now " she said and walked away leaving behind Arjun who was watching her disappearing figure.

He came in front of his chamber and entered in . His nose caught the fragrance of flowers and cented candles . He looked all around the room which was decorated beautifully . He looked in direction of bed which was empty .

" Where is she ?" A thought crept in his mind .

Next moment , he heard jingling of anklet which was like some melodious song . He walked in that direction and spotted her .

Subhadra was sitting in the balcony observing the surrounding and the beautiful sky . Her thoughts wondering around Arjun . She like his generous nature , his way of talking and his beautiful pair of eyes which was something she never forget . His touch which always mesmerized her .

" Subhadra why are you sitting here ? " Arjun asked her coming from back and standard infront her.

Subhadras face was shining in moonlight making the sight infront of Arjun mesmerizing .

" Nothing just observing the surrounding" she replied politely .

And the silence prevailed , after few moments Subhadra gestured him to sit beside her on swings .

" U know Subhadra you are so different from the other Princess " Arjun said sitting behind her.

Subhadra just gave him a small smile .

" Arjun , l know we are tied in an unpredictable marriage . But I assured you that I will give my best in handling it .  There are many things of me that you need to know and many of you I need to know . " She said looking at him .

" I think Subhadra we can make it up and have a good relationship " Arjun told her .

" You must change your clothes now as they were irritating you " he said remembering her banter and smile appeared on his face . She nodded her head.

Subhadra got up to walk inside but tripped due to heavy cloth and closed her eyes and made her body ready to touch the cold floor . Two muscular arms incircled her around her waist tightly and pushed her upward to hit a broad chest .

Arjun was holding Subhadra by her waist . Her hands was on his chest , Subhadra opened her eye slowly . She could feel the warm breath of Arjun on her soft skin . Their faces was few inches apart from each other .

Arjun eyes falls on Subhadra face observing every details from her mesmerizing eyes to her soft glossy pink lips .

" Arjun ..." Subhadra called him . His name from her mouth sounds so beautiful to him . He realised their proximity that he was still holding her .
 

Getting back to trances Arjun leaved Subhadra and she rushed into the chamber .

Arjun also got inside the chamber and sat on the couch .

Subhadra came outside after changing into simple lenhaga , all the jewellery were taken out adorned by vermillion only on her silky smooth hair which was flowing in rhythm due to wind . And she was struggling to handle it.

Arjun smiled at her .

" You can sleep on bed Subhadra . I will be on couch" Arjun told her .

A frown appeared on Subhadra face.
" No need of that Arjun . We can share a bed it's big enough " she told him sternly .

" Won't you feel awkward ? " Arjun asked her .

" I can never feel discomfortable with we . I have trust on you on that ." She said sitting on bed and laying down.

Arjun was just astonished by her words . "She trust me  so much" he thought walking towards bed and layed down on cushion .

Both were somewhat happy to have such a understanding partner and after sometime silence prevailed taking them to dreamland .

In somewhere where evil resides....

" You are useless Kalyavan . You just can't  kidnapped a girl " a voice roared like thunder.

" I have kidnapped her but a man saved her " Kalyavan then narrated the whole happening to the man .

Suddenly , an soldier came and told them the news  of Arjun and Subhadra marriage .

That man's angered was now out of control .

" Killed her Kalyavan . I wanted her to be dead . If she can't be mine them she can't be anyone . " A man ordered Kalyavan .

" Maharaj noone demon can entered Indraprastha due to its illusioninary protection " Kalyavan told him knowing.

" Use your mind fool make plan . I wanted her brother krishna to cry for his beloved sister" man replied almost smiling a wicked smile .
